┊𖤐₊˚. ࿐ྂ。It was hard for the freshmen to concentrate on classes the next day with their most demanding midterm looming over them. Tecna had advised them to sleep after light's out but Bloom could not. She had studied a solid hour after and she was still able to wake up early the next day. She even brought her books to read during breakfast but she wasn't the only one as during lunchtime the atmosphere was tense with freshmen ignoring their food in favour of reading through their textbooks one more time. Tecna had been the only one who enjoyed her lunch as she was very adamant on keeping the knowledge she required over night in her brain.
She felt it would hinder her knowledge if she were to read through a book on the exam day.
The second years only had a practical exam that was probably the easiest exam, as they did not seem the least bit worried. They did feel bad for the first years for having the most difficult exam as their last one.
The seniors however, were bathing in the other years misery. They had finished early and now they were just relaxing waiting for the break to come.
Bloom was looking through several books for the last time in her and Flora's room. She had only a few minutes left before she had to leave. She had left the dining hall just a few minutes before lunchtime was over. The girl had been trying to find spells to protect herself during the exam. She was really nervous about it. She wanted to pass this exam without any problems.
Kiko hopped over to Bloom and she put him on her lap, stroking his head. “Kiko, I need to find a spell and I don't have a lot of time.”
Kiko looked over the book that was on Bloom's knees as if he understood any of what was going on. She was in desperate need of a protection spell. “I know I saw a protection spell somewhere. . . Here it is!” she almost squealed with joy when she saw it.
“'Say this once, say this twice, cast this spell and all will be well'! Hmmm, am I supposed to say the whole thing twice or just the second part?” Bloom asked Kiko. The bunny just stared up at her not understanding what was going on about.
The girl shook her head. She did not have time to stress over that now. She will figure it out when it happens. Bloom's phone beeped in her pocket and she frowned.
She took it out to see a message from Brandon that wished her good luck.
A smile spread across the girl's face and she quickly typed out a reply.Bloom: Thanks! I'm definitely going to need it.
Bloom packed her books away and her phone beeped again not long after.
Brandon: You'll pass easy. Got my fingers crossed.
Almost immediately he send another message.
Brandon: Levi and Timmy wish you good luck. Even they know you'll ace this exam.
Bloom: Thank them for me. I'll pass your and their wishes to the other girls.
She put her phone away in the drawer at her desk when she realized how late she was. The girl picked up her backpack off the floor — unaware that Kiko had crawled inside to take a nap — and hurried off.

“Good morning class!” Palladium chirped, seeming to the class much too excited considering how nervous they all were feeling. Musa could not stand still beside Bloom with how nervous she was. “I trust you're all full of energy and sufficiently ready to take your midterm.”“I don’t feel ready,” Musa muttered to her friends. “I’ve forgotten what I studied,” Flora said, looking worried. She couldn't get her brain to remember anything she studied.
