You and Wanda have been married for 5 years now and live happily in a house together in the suburbs.

[Your bedroom]

You walk up to a picture hung on a string of lights by a wooden clothespin. A black heart coloured in by a sharpie is drawn on the bottom right. "Oh, I remember that night," Wanda says approaching behind you. "Me too." You pause. "It was the day I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you."

- Flashback -

[Avengers compound, 6 years ago]

You, Wanda, Natasha, Maria, Yelena, Kate, and Carol are all having a girls night. Yelena had recently bought a polaroid camera to "capture her surroundings".

She takes a few snaps of the girls and the activities they were doing that night. One picture is of you guys clinking your drinks into a group cheers, another being Natasha, Maria, Carol and Kate playing Twister and another one being a poor selfie Yelena tried to take with the group but ended up with half of her face in the frame and only some others' heads at the bottom.

During the game of twister, Natasha's ass ends up right in front of Maria. You shout over, "hey Nat, that's kinda gay!" "Oh shut up, y/n! You're one to talk!" She shouts back.

You and Wanda are snuggled up on the couch together with drinks in hand. You share a kiss.
"I love you, y/n." "I love you too, Wands."

*click, flash*

"Yelena!" You and Wanda exclaim annoyed. "What? You guys looked cute, so I thought I'd capture the moment." You and Wanda giggle and kiss once more. "Wait! I'm not ready!" Yelena says fumbling the camera.

A few moments pass and Yelena goes to check on the first picture. "Shoot, it turned out bad. Okay, look cute again." She says to you and your girlfriend. You and Wanda both look at Yelena with fake shocked and offended faces. "C'mon guys. One more picture!" "No!" You and Wanda say in unison. You continue, "you just implied that my girlfriend doesn't always look cute, you don't get another picture." "I second that," Wanda adds. "Ugh, fine!" Yelena exclaims. She walks away and heads toward the girls who are now all intertwined on the Twister mat. They all fall together into one big clump and the game is over.

"Okay guys, let's play some truth or dare," Carol suggests. "Hey lovebirds. Get over here and join us!" Natasha calls out. You and Wanda walk over to where the other girls are sitting and take a seat.

Carol says, "I'll start. Kate, truth or dare?" "Dare," Kate says with confidence in her voice. "I dare you to finish the rest of your drink within 10 seconds, starting now. 10!" Kate grabs her glass and starts chugging. "9! 8! 7!" everyone else starts to chime in. "6! 5! 4!" Kate's still going and she's almost done. "3! 2! 1!" "And time!" Carol says and Kate takes a huge breath and sighs of relief after finishing her drink. "Okay Kate, now it's your turn to ask someone," Natasha says. Kate still catching her breath says, "Oh, okay. Maria, truth or dare?" "Uh, truth." "What was the last lie you told?" Maria thinks for a moment then casually says, "No Yelena, I'm not gay." "You lied to me?!" Yelena says shocked. "It wasn't so much lying as it was you not clueing into a very sarcastic comment, but it's still a lie so," Maria says taking a sip from her drink. It's her turn to ask someone so she starts, "hmm... Wanda, truth or dare?" "Dare." "I dare you to top up all of our drinks, but only using your magic." You all cheer as you like the sound of that as Wanda begins wiggling her fingers to prepare for the dare. The red glow appears and she starts moving bottles.

She's concentrating so hard that her nose scrunches up. You've never seen her do it before, but it's the absolute cutest thing in the world and you would give anything to see her do that throughout the rest of your life. You look at Wanda and stare in amusement, awe and adoration.

*click, flash*

- End of flashback -

And there, hung in your bedroom, lies that picture. A picture captured at the perfect moment. A moment that meant so much to you and you couldn't be more grateful for Yelena and her polaroid camera. Wanda hugs you from behind and kisses your cheek. You turn your head to kiss her, but notice her smile with her nose all scrunched up, making you fall in love with her all over again.
