It wasn't hard to find a house in Tampa...in fact it wasn't far from Nicole and John but packing up mine and Katy's stuff in Chicago about killed me...leaving Phil for good hurt worse than saying it...before this we were good...we were great...but I couldnt come back from this I kept true to my promise I didn't keep Katy from Phil....with him having her now I was running steps to clear my mind tonight i ended my ties with CM Punk...I turned running smack into a chest..I looked up meeting the blue-gray eyes of Joe Anoa'i I pulled my ear buds out "Hey.."
Roman gave a small smile "Hey I heard what happened...I'm sorry."
I sighed "I've been getting that a lot these past few weeks...but it happened I left...I'm building a good home for my daughter...I'm just trying to be civil with Phil for Kat's sake."
He sat on the steps "Join me?"
I nodded sitting down "I almost called it off...for a year and a half that was home...Chicago was where my daughter was born....3 years..."
Roman sighed "That sucks baby girl it does."
I had to smile that was a phrase I had to admit I missed "I havent heard that in a long time."
He nodded "Its been a long time...."
I nodded "9 years.."
Roman looked over at me "I still think about that day had I listen to my mom and cousins instead of my dad...maybe neither of us would of ended up so hurt."
I nodded slightly "Maybe but you wouldn't have Lilly and I wouldn't have Katy..I wouldn't give her up for anything."
He nodded "Me either...did you ever think about what if?"
I nodded "You were my first love but Joe we're not teenagers anymore...your a dad now...I'm a mom.."
Roman nodded "I never stopped...I know it sounds stupid we were kids...dad assured me I was doing the right thing...for you for my college career...I never felt right..then I met Lilly's mom Tessa I tried..I thought when she got pregnant with Lilly it would help it didn't."
I sighed "Joe..I.."
He cut me off with a kiss..
I don't know why but I kissed him back..this felt right..I felt his fingers in my hair..I reluctantly pulled away "Joe."
Roman gave me a small smile "Let me take you out...no expectations...just a chance."
I nodded "Okay...I'll let Phil keep Katy...and we can go tomorrow before Smackdown."
He smiled "Okay."
I nodded as we stood up "I'll see you in a bit."
Roman caught my wrist and pulled me back "I don't have your number."
I took his phone and entered my number "Now you do.."
He smiled "I'll see you later."
I smiled and walked off as I was walking my phone buzzed *You still have a great ass -Joe* I laughed *Still a perv -Meli* *Maybe just a little bit -Joe* I locked my phone as I walked into Phil's locker room.."Hey."
Punk looked up from his spot on the floor with Katy "Hey..we just ate some absolutely disgusting yogurt."
I smiled slightly "She loves it though."
