Chris drops me home
I put away my stuff and get out my phone, need to call my sisters but which one should I call first ? Or should I just meet them both somewhere
I call Hannah
"Hey" she quickly answers
"Hi, how are you ?" I ask
"As good as I can be" she says
"I just wanted to ask if you had decided-" she cuts me off
"I'm keeping it" Hannah shoots
"Wow Han that's great. Told anyone else ?" I ask her
"Other then you and Noah... No. I've been thinking of telling Amelia but with the whole cancelling the wedding thing it looked like a bad timing to tell her" Hannah says
She's right
"How about you, me and Amelia go out for brunch. Just us sisters" I suggest
"Yeah that would be nice" "I'll call Amelia then send you the details, okay ?"
"Sound like a plan" I say and end the call
Few minutes later I get a text of the location and timing of are brunch. It's a restaurant called salt and pepper And we decided to go for a lunch instead of a brunch.
I get ready and head out the house. I get in my car. It's been so long since I drove. Ever since I met Chris it's like he's been driving me every where.
I put in the keys and start my car
Smooth drive to the restaurant.
I get there and see both my sisters waiting for me outside.
I role down my window "sisters" I say and nod
"How are you always late to everything ?" Amelia asks
"Oh shut up" I say "let me park my car" I drive away from them. I find a spot, it's a bit far away from the restaurant but I'm in the mood for a light walk.
I reach the restaurant.
"Finally !" Hannah yells
I roll my eyes at her "you two are very unpainted" I say to my sisters
"Oh stop acting like you aren't just like us" Amelia rests her hand on my back as we three walk to the restaurant
We sit down and start talking
"So why did you cancel the wedding ?" Hannah asks Amelia
I just listen to them. I know both of there problems/secrets.
"So what you weren't ready to marry him because he's a clean freak and you aren't ?" Hannah asks
"No" Amelia slaps her hand on her forehead. Hannah might look smart... but she really isn't.
How come my parents aren't disappointed in her ?
"Enough about me and Ben, why the hell did you leave my bachelorette party ?" Amelia asks Hannah
Hannah and I give each other a look
"What ?" Amelia asks "why do you two always keep secrets from me-" I cut her off
"We never keep anything from you-" Hannah cut me off
"It's more like you two keep secrets from me !"
We three argue
"I'm pregnant" Hannah says- well more like yells.
"What !?" Amelia says
Is she happy or not ?
Amelia slams her hand on the table and leaves, a few seconds later Hannah leaves the table leaving a few tears on the table.
I sit alone on the table.
Great this was a bad idea
At least they both know each other's problems....
I check my phone and see I had gotten a text from Chris
"How's it go ?" He texted. I had told Chris about the whole plan and how I was going to meet my sisters and talk about things. I had also told him a few times that I knew this was not going to go well, but he kept assuring me.
"Bad :(" i send
Typing......
"Oh I'm sorry, what happened ?"
"I really don't know"
"Give it another go. Call them and tell them this isn't over, you three really need to talk" he send
"Your rights" "I'm sure there gone now" i type
"Just call them"
"Okay, I will..... thanks" I send
I get my phone and call both of my sisters demanding them both to get back to the restaurant. It was hard to convince them but they finally agreed to come.
They both sit down on the same place we sat earlier
"What ?" Amelia asks
"Why the hell are you mad ?" I ask her
"I'm not mad just disappointed" Amelia
"Why ?" Hannah asks her
"Because I feel like I'm the oldest and I somehow had to be the first one to marry and have a child. I have already disappointed mom and dad by calling off the wedding and now I can't give them the first grandchild"
"That's so not true !" Hannah argues "you are literally there golden child" Hannah says
"That's true" I say as they both look at me "you can do them no wrong"
"Mhm" Hannah adds
"You guys are just saying that to make me feel better" Amelia rolls her eyes
"No-" before Hannah could say anything else I cut her off.
"Just shut up ! The two of you, can we just have a normal lunch us three without talking about all the shitty stuff in are life. Let's look on the bright side. Hannah you are starting a family and it doesn't matter if it to soon or not, we will all support you. Amelia you are getting married soon and even if you decide to cancel the wedding you fiancé still loves you and is willing to wait until you are ready. Now can we order ?" I ask
Damn that was deep
"Since when did you become this positive person?" Hannah asks with a laugh
"Yeah it's weird. Aren't your supposed to be the stupid one ?" Amelia asks
"Yeah cause you are a drop out" Hannah whispers to me
"I hate you two" I say
"We love you two" both Hannah and Amelia say
