The cries of the toddler filled the alleyway, Hifumi glared at the villagers who laughed at the two. Hifumi stood his ground. "Don't. Don't you fucking lay another hand on him!" He shouted, a warning as he held out a kunai. Ready to defend the boy he raised and the forgotten hero of the village. "Onii... Onii, it hurts!" Naruto cried as he hugged his stomach. Hifumi felt tears fall, just hearing his hurt he was broken him but thankfully his face was still. "We would be doing the leaf a service by getting rid of the both of you." A drunk slurred out as a few agreed. They stepped closer. Hifumi's eyes sharpened.
Hifumi loudly huffed as he ran to their rundown apartment. This was the last straw.

"You had no right to assault our citizens!" The old woman sneered before the older man nodded. "That boy can defend himself if he can't then it's his fault." Hifumi glared at the elders and his father who said nothing. Hifumi's face was bruised and his left eye had a popped vessel. "He's a child!" The woman snapped. "He's cursed with the nine tails! Do you forget child?!" Hifumi grit his teeth. "Lord Fourth told us that Naruto was to be celebrated for carrying such a burden! He carries the nine tails for the sake of the leaf! You dare disrespect the dying wish of the former Hokage?!" He shouted but he was silenced by the glare from his father.
