Ruby woke up not being able to open her eyes. There was a bright light beside her, she let out a groan as she waited for her eyes to adjust.

"Where the hell am I?" she asks aloud. Audrey nearly fell from the chair she was sleeping in when she heard Ruby's voice.

"Are you okay my love?" Audrey asks looking over Ruby frantically. She pressed a button near the top of the bed to alert the nurses and Head Misstress Fairy Godmother that Ruby was awake.

"I feel fine now," Ruby said, reaching to hold Audrey's hand.

"You gave Audry quite the scare." Fairy Godmother says as she enters the room. "Now, can you tell us what happened? If I can recall from Audrey's story, you said it was 'the voices'"

"Um yeah. I hear voices inside of my head" Ruby says now uncomfortable. Audrey squeezes her hand reassuring her. "My mom and I both hear them. A curse of us not being in Wonderland she says. She can block them out better than I can though. We can hear the voices of all of the people who are in Wonderland. They scream and yell and talk until they drive us insane. That's why I was smoking when I first arrived. The high drowns out the voices temporarily, making my head a bit clearer."

"Don't you know there are medicines for these types of things?" Fairy Godmother asks. Ruby almost laughs.

"Not for the people like us on the Isle. The medicine you've given us can barely stop a runny nose. Are you aware that hundreds of people die on that Isle every week? Starvation, flu, dysentery, and lack of Vitamin D because there is a constant cloud over the island to where we can't get sunlight. So if you ever hear one of the VKs say, "Only the strongest survive" it is because it's true. There is no medication, no nurses or doctors unless you count witch doctors, but they have no magic even then. The Isle is no longer a prison, it is a death sentence, and no one but Prince Ben, my mother, and I seem to care" Ruby finishes. Audrey and Fairy Godmother were silent. Ruby couldn't tell if Fairy Godmother had tears in her eyes or if it was just a reflection of the lights.

"That is definitely a problem and I will surely inform Prince Ben and his parents about it," Fairy Godmother says. "For now, hopefully, the doctor can prescribe you some medicine to help with these fits that you have. It may take a while as we do need parent permission with you being a minor."

"Thank you Fairy Godmother" both girls reply. Godmother smiles lightly at the two teens despite her suspicion of them dating so soon after meeting, same with Mal and Ben.

"I forgot to mention, Ruby, you have another visitor" as soon as she says that a woman with blonde hair that mirrors Queen Elsa's, walks into the room. She stood a bit taller than Ruby, her posture straight. She wore a white dress complimented by silver jewelry. Ruby knew exactly who she was without ever meeting her.

"The White Queen" Ruby says out loud.
