Despite the chairman saying I didn't have to wear the uniform, I put it on anyway. I got to class relatively early. A few students studied while some others talked quietly. The Ootri boy was there, reading a book. He scared me a little, he was intimidating looking and I know his father owns large businesses, which, unfortunately, have a large influence on my Father and Uncle's businesses'.

I sat down at my desk and pulled out my book.

I put my book down when Tadeo put his head in my lap. I grabbed a small treat from my bag and fed it to him. I petted him. He got up on his hind legs and put his paws on my lap, leaning against me. His tail wagged happily as I scratched behind his ear. I continued to read my book as I petted his side. I put him down after a minute and he rolled onto his belly. I kept my thumb on my page and reached down and rubbed his belly for a few seconds before sitting up and going back to my book.

I felt like I was being watched. I looked over to the Ootri boy and no doubt he was staring at me. He didn't even look away when I caught him. I turned my gaze away quickly.

"Good morning Kyoya!" Suoh's voice exclaimed as he walked in. I kept my nose in my book and slumped down in my seat. I gasped slightly as Tadeo got up and went over to Tamaki, I tried to grab his leash but Tamaki had already begun to coo over him.

"Hey, Mathieu, is it okay if I give him a doggy biscuit?" Tamaki asked.

"Uhm, yeah sure, I don't mind," I said nervously.

Once class was about to start Tadeo made his way to my side.

The lecture went by in a blur. But then again I wasn't paying much attention. We just got a few worksheets we were to finish by tomorrow.

After my classes, it was my free hour. I took that as my chance to explore a little more.

I walked into the room. It was a little chilly but I didn't mind. It was a large music room. It was empty at the moment for most people were in class. I smiled upon seeing a grand piano by a large window.

Tadeo stayed by my side as I wandered around. I eventually sat down at the piano. I lifted the key cover and looked and the beautiful keys. I thought for a moment, puffing out my cheeks as I tried to decide on a song to play. I sighed deeply and started to play a soft melody. I watched as my fingers danced across the keys, the music echoing off the marble walls.

I noticed Tadeo look over at the door, which made me stop abruptly. I looked over to see seven boys staring at me from the lounge area.

"Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt you. Please, keep playing?" Tamaki asked.

I only nodded and went back to playing the piano. They talked quietly among themselves while I focused on my hands. If anything, them all being here made me a bit nervous. My heart felt like it was going to explode out of my chest.

I heard a soft gasp and looked up to see Tamaki's eyes light up.

"Is that a piece from Hamilton?" He asked excitedly, running up to the piano.

"Yeah, you know it?" I stammered, flushing a bit as he sat down on the bench next to me.

"Of course! Quiet Uptown is my favorite piece!" Tamaki gushed as I continued to play.

He played the left-hand chords while I kept playing the right. Once the song finished Tadeo came up and put his paw on my leg, letting me know I was about to have an episode.

"Um, excuse me, I have to go. Thank you for playing the piano with me," I stuttered as I got up, bowing towards him.

"Wait! Stay? I'm sure you'd be interested in the host club! So what's your type?" Tamaki said enthusiastically.

"Type?" I asked in bewilderment.

"Yeah, we have the mischievous type," Tamaki said as he pointed out the twins.

"The boy lolita type!" He chimed as he pointed out the small third year, his arm going around my shoulders as he pulled me close.

"The strong and silent type," Tamaki gestured to the quiet giant.

"The natural type," He hummed as he briefly went over the brunette boy.

"The cool type and then me, the prince type," He purred, pulling me close and tilting my chin up slightly as his hand trailed down to my waist.

"Uh," Was all I could manage to say before my knees buckled.

I fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes. Tadeo chuffed a soft bark and laid on my lap to keep me from falling forward.

"Now you've done it Senpai! It was obvious that his dog was alerting him," The brunette scolded.

"I'm really sorry about this. I'm okay. I should probably go," I said shakily as I slowly got up.

"Are you sure you shouldn't sit down or something?" The girlish-looking boy asked worriedly.

"No, I'm okay, thank you for your concern. Um, It was nice meeting everyone," I smiled bashfully, bowing awkwardly as I headed out.

I took a deep breath as I got into the quiet hallway. I looked at my watch. Club hours would be starting in a few minutes. So I'd have to kill two hours before then.

I made my way to the second music room to take a look at the classical music club. It was filled with classically trained students. Tadeo stayed glued to my side as I stood in the doorway.

"Oh! You must be the new transfer student, Nanase-Kun, right?" A girl with chin-length choppy black hair asked.

I only nodded.

"I heard you played piano, are you looking to join our club?" She asked as she started to show me around.

"Er, I'm not sure. I don't even know if I'm supposed to do any clubs," I stammered.

"That's okay. You don't have to decide right away. But I think you'd make a great fit in our club, why don't you sit down and play something?" She suggested gesturing to an open spot on a piano.

"I think I'll stop by later, there are still some other clubs I'd like to check out," I said nervously.

I left the music room and wasted time until it was almost six and then I got into the limo and rode home. I made it to my room quickly and quietly so as to not disturb my uncle and called it a day.
