After I was released from the Hospital it was straight to the courts. I testified against my Uncle and he was put away for the foreseeable future. I inherited his company along with his estate and other assets.

My brother gladly went back to America to live with our Maternal Grandparents.

I sold my Uncle's estate and bought a newly built one. Tamaki had moved in with me and Tadeo just before Christmas.

I was in my study, making a special phone call.

"Bonjour? C'est de la résidence Tonnerre," A femminie voice said on the other line.

"Hello, mademoiselle Tonnerre. This is Mathieu Nanase. You were a good friend of my mother's, yes?" I greeted.

"Oh, of course, you must be her son. Oh, how she loved to talk about you, you were her pride and joy," She greeted happily.

"I'm glad to hear that," I said gratefully, "But, the reason I am calling today is I have a favor to ask," I said softly.

"What might that be, my dear?" She asked.

"I would like to hire your maid, Anne-Sophie de Grantaine," I stated, "I will pay for her travel here and anything else that might be needed," I continued.

"Oh? Anne-Sophie? What, What is your reason, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked, sounding suspicious of my request.

"Well, after my Uncle was put in prison, I fired most of his staff since they were equally unpleasant and cowardly. I would like to Hire Anne-Sophie de Grantaine because she'd make a wonderful addition to my staff. It would very much please me to have a mother figure back in my life," I said softly.

The Tonnere Matriarch paused before she spoke. "Of course, dear. We will have her arrive in Japan in three days," She said softly.

"Thank you," I said gently, hanging up afterward.

I let out a sigh of relief.

There was a knock on my door.

"Enter," I called. The door opened and Tamaki walked in. He closed the door behind him.

"What is it, my love?" I asked softly.

"Nothing," He sighed as he wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my cheek.

"Bored?" I questioned with a small laugh.

"I guess you could say that. Christmas break seems to be lasting forever," Tamaki said.

"I suppose. Are you doing anything in three days?" I asked, rubbing his back as his chin rested on my shoulder.

He shook his head. "Not that I know of, why?" He asked. I pulled away from him and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead.

"No reason, just wondering. I have some staff coming from Europe and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?" I asked.

"Of course," He smiled.

It was Christmas Eve, the day of the arrival. Tamaki, Kyoya, and Tadeo and I were waiting at the gate of the airport.

"Mom?" Tamaki gasped softly as soon as he saw her. He stood there frozen, like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"Go on," I urged Tamaki. He sprinted to his mother, who was sitting in a wheelchair, her hand over her mouth as her eyes teared.

Kyoya put a grateful hand on my shoulder as Tamaki embraced his mother. "He truly is lucky to have you, we all are," Kyoya said softly.

Tamaki grabbed his mother's bags and a butler pushed her wheelchair to the limo. I smiled and approached Anne-Sophie. She gave me a loving smile and I leaned down and kissed her on both cheeks.

"Thank you," She said quietly.

"I'd do anything for you two," I said warmly.

Once we reached the estate, Tamaki set down his mother's luggage and practically tackled me, peppering kisses all over my face. He held me tightly and I rubbed his back, swaying softly.

"Thank you, thank you so much," Tamaki cried.

Tadeo went up to Tamaki's mother and put his head in her lap. She chuckled and patted his head.

Once we got Tamaki's mother settled in, we helped the staff finish getting ready for our Christmas Eve diner. I had invited the hosts and their families. They all came, surprisingly. The hosts all went up to meet Tamaki's mother. She was walking around now, but not large distance's.

Tamaki stayed by his mother's side throughout the whole dinner. Yuzuru and Shizue kind of stayed off to the side. I could tell Yuzuru wanted to go talk to her. Once Tamaki was occupied with Haruhi I pulled his mother aside.

"Anne-Sophie, may I ask you a question?" I asked softly, swallowing my nerves.

"Of course," She told me, holding my hand as she sat down.

"May I have your blessing to marry your son, after high school?" I asked softly. She smiled softly and gently squeezed my hand.

"Of course," she said softly, wrapping her arms around me. I smiled and hugged her back.

I was about to grab a drink for Tamaki and

Yuzuru nudged my arm. "Have you asked him yet?" He asked.

"Ah, no, not yet, I was. Actually planning to ask him next Christmas, before we graduate," I stammered.

Yuzuru chuckled. "I can't wait for you two to adopt some children," He grinned.

I let out a nervous laugh and flushed a bright red. "We, we haven't talked about, about that yet," I murmured. He let out another hearty chuckle and patted my back.

Haruhi P.O.V.

Mathieu suddenly keeled over passed out on the floor. Mr. Ootori and his two eldest rushed over to Mathieu and beside Yuzuru.

"Is he okay?" Tamaki's mother asked worriedly.

Tamaki sighed.

"He's fine everyone, just a symptom of his Narcolepsy!" Kyoya announced.

His father and two brothers looked relieved. Mori helped Mathieu up and brought him to his room.

"He's been really working himself these past few days, hasn't he?" I asked Tamaki. He only nodded.

Tamaki P.O.V.

It wasn't until after midnight, everyone had left. I helped my mother to her room and tucked her in.

"Goodnight mother," I said softly. She smiled and kissed my forehead.

I went to mine and Mathieu's room and got ready for bed. He rolled onto his stomach, snoring away softly. Tadeo and Antoinette laid together in the huge dog bed the twins' had bought them.

I climbed into bed with Mathieu and he rolled toward me. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close. He let out a soft hum and curled into my bare chest.

I petted his hair and rubbed his back.

I never thought I'd get a happily ever after. But, Mathieu made that dream come true.
