Haruhi and I arrived at the school the next day and started attending to guests as if nothing happened. Tadeo whined quietly at my side, sensing my distress.

I did a double take when I saw Éclair speaking with a very displeased-looking Haruhi. I went to approach but I felt someone grab my hand.

"It's best not to intervene," Kyoya spoke softly, his other hand giving my shoulder a reassuring squeeze.

"I don't know if I can do this today," I admitted honestly. It felt like I was about to snap. And it was probably going to be Éclair Tonnerre at the receiving end.

"Please, sit down?" Kyoya requested, steering me off to a table. I sat down and he poured me a cup of tea. He gave my hand another soft squeeze before going to speak with Haruhi.

"Matt-Chan, are you doing okay?" Honey asked me worriedly as he walked up to my table. I looked down at my cup and nodded, my lip starting to quiver.

Honey was quick to put his tray down and wrap his arms around my shoulders. He hugged me tightly before he pulled away. "Thank you, Honey-Senpai, I really needed that," I spoke softly with a small smile. He gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze before he left to attend to more guests.

"You don't know anything about the host club!" Haruhi snapped at Yoshio suddenly, her voice carrying through the room. I stood up quickly. I strolled through the crowd to get to where Kyoya was standing behind Haruhi.

"Kyoya-Senpai works around the clock to make sure that everyone here is enjoying themselves. And did you ever stop to think that entertaining others might give each of us some fulfillment? How could you possibly say that what we do here is just a waste of our time? I don't care what you say. I think Kyoya is amazing," Haruhi rattled off venomously at the Ootori Patriarch's back. Yoshio didn't say anything in response and kept walking.

Kyoya had us go get ready for the last phase of the Ouran fair.

"I'm sorry, Kyoya, but, I can't. I can't do it," I told him before I turned to leave.

I gave William Tadeo's leash as I left.

Everything was just too much all at the same time. It was like my emotions just shut down. I was on autopilot. I couldn't even cry.

I walked out into the parking area and looked for my car. I turned the key in the ignition and pulled out of my parking spot.

I was immediately surrounded by police officers. An officer knocked on my window. I rolled it down upon request.

"We need to know your name and destination, we've been hired to protect Éclair and not allow any hosts to leave," One of the officer's said gruffly.

"My name is Mathieu Nanase, I'm going to your mom's house. I suggest you step aside before I put my foot on the gas," I warned, not in the mood to be restrained.

"Excuse me?" The officer growled.

"I said move," I reiterated.

"Sir, please step out of the car?" Another officer requested.

I revved my car and the officer's took a skittish step back. I took my foot off the break and lurched forward, speeding out of the parking lot.

I arrived at the Suoh estate and grabbed my suitcases I had yet to unpack. As I put them in my trunk I realized I was forgetting two very vital pieces of paperwork.

My passport and my birth certificate.

I went to my Uncle's estate and quickly ran up the stairs. I grabbed my paper's from my safe under my bed and hurried back down the stairs.

I froze when I saw my Uncle blocking the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" He growled at me.

"I'm leaving. Please step aside?" I asked shakily, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Why? That pathetic boyfriend of yours finally leave you?" My Uncle snarled maliciously.

I swallowed thickly and didn't say anything.

"Please step aside?" I asked again.

"You aren't leaving. And if you are, then the only place you'll be going is hell," My Uncle sneered.

He suddenly rushed me and tackled me against the stairs.

"Get off!" I shrieked, pushing, kicking, and trying to claw my way out of his grasp.

He grabbed my hair harshly and shoved me onto my stomach. He held my wrists together behind my back and zip-tied the tightly.

"Let me go!" I shouted, trying to pull free as he put me over his shoulder.

"Help! Somebody help me! Anyone!" I screamed desperately.

"Shut your fucking mouth, boy!" My Uncle snapped, dropping me onto the ground and knocking the wind out of me.

I wheezed and gasped as I rolled onto my back.

I let out a sharp cry of agony when my Uncle's foot connected with my stomach. I curled into a ball as cried for him to stop.

But after the relentless assault, I couldn't help but accept my fate.

I wasn't leaving this house alive.

I had a will written out. A few months after I was shipped off to live with my Uncle. Tadeo would be put under the care of Tamaki, and if he can't care for him, then he goes to Haruhi or the twins. I also had it so if I were to ever die all my money would go to the Fujioka's. That's all I had in my will. I didn't really own anything of much value other than Tadeo.

Once my Uncle had tired himself out and I had stopped reacting, he left the room. Leaving me where he dropped me. It hurt to breathe. My breath came out in short wheeze's. Everything slowly started to get heavier. My body trembled, still coming down from the excruciating pain.

I shut my eyes tightly when the light was turned on. I heard a series of footsteps approach. I kept my eyes shut, hating the light and the loud noises.

Was he coming back to finish me?

I was suddenly lifted into someone's arms. "Mathieu! Wake up! Please?" A familiar voice pleaded.

I cracked my swollen eyes open and met amber-colored ones. Honey pulled the zip ties off and Mori picked me up and I was rushed out of there. The next thing I know I'm on a stretcher. Everything was blurring past.

And then, everything was gone.
