The boy opened his eyes slowly, lifting his head up as best he could.
"Take it easy, you hit your head pretty hard," Yuki told him, pushing against his shoulder to stop him from lifting up any further.
"What's your name, boy," Red Bear asked.
"M-m.... Mambo," he stuttered, trying to gain his bearing.
"Well, Mambo... Do you know what happened to you?"
Mambo shook his head side to side, despite the intense throbbing it caused. He rubbed at his temple to try and relieve some of the pain. He tried a little harder to remember, but failed. Only blackness answered.
The other three frowned, knowing that he had yet to realize that he had become like them. So Yuki and Jon Paul let Red Bear take the lead in talking to the boy. Red Bear let his voice flow over the boy, relaxing him.
It had only been a few minutes when a loud commotion outside interrupted them. Shouting filter in through the walls. Yuki could tell that their captures weren't to happy.
