The party has got ownership over the mansion, as per agrement. Everyone was doing their own thing.

Darkness and Megumin were playing chess. Kazuma was looking over his adventurer card. Aqua was bothering Kazuma. Kumagawa was reading the new Weekly Shounen Jump issue. Nyx was looking over Kumagawa's shoulder, interesed in his Weekly Shounen Jump. And Ei was sleeping in Kumagawa's lap while he was reading Weekly Shounen Jump.

Kazuma:Huh, why have your stats not moved up at all despise the raise in level?

Aqua:Huh, what do you mean, Kazuma? They were already maxed out!

Kazuma looked over at Kumagawa. Does that mean his stats are beyond this world's limit for it's inhabitants? Well, no surprise here.

Kazuma:...Oh, everything's great except intelligence.

Aqua:Huh!?

The two started bickering again. Right Now Kazuma was wondering where's his blossoming love life as a isekai protagonist.

Kumagawa:[Hahaha, typical Kakine!]

Ei:This is the manga you were talking about, master?

Kumagawa:[Oh, Ei-chan. I thought you were sleeping.]

Ei:The screaming child woke me up.

Kumagawa:[Ah. Well, it is and it is not.]

Ei:Huh?

Nyx:I don't understand, master. I saw iyou reading this type of literature before. This is clearly a manga.

Kumagawa:[It's not that it's not a manga, but rather that it's a different type of manga. This is known as a spin-off. At the end of the day, a manga is a story. A spin-off of a series takes a character from it, other than the protagonist, and shows us that character's overall life on a period of time. It can take quiet a number of chapters, but is alwais shorter than the main story. The action usually takes place away from the main cast and gives us a much more in depth look at the character's personality, ideology, power level and relationships. It's nice every niw and than to make a pause from the protagonist and understand better another character which you like.]

Ei:I see. Hm, how intriguing.

Nyx:It's a bit complicated, but I think I got the idea. Shame my stories had nothing like that.

Kumagawa:[Kakine, for example, was portrayed as a jerk in his first appearence. This spin-off shows us that he has redeeming qualities and we have a glimpse at what has pushed him to be this way.]

Nyx:Oh! It's that what you call a tsundere, master.

Kumagawa:[No, no, Accelerator is clearly the tsundere. I'd place Kakine more along the lines of himedere.]

Nyx:There really are a lot of deres, huh?

Ei:Where would you place us, master?

Kumagawa:[Let's see. Nyx-chan is clearly a deredere, which Ei-chan would fit more as a kuudere.]

Ei:Oho. By the way, what would be your place in this spectrum?

Kumagawa:[Hm...you know, I'm not really sure.]

Kazuma prefered to listen to the three superpowered individuals from three different worlds, rather than to Aqua's rambling. This one a interesting question, indeed.

From the manga ge knows for sure Kumagawa doesn't show, or worst case doesn't have, many genuine emotions and most of his emotions are faked, which would make him a kuudere. But there's come the fact he's both a psychopath and a socyopath, which would make him a yandere.
