The Uchiha prince was fast asleep. That is until he heard footsteps scurry past his room outside.

Sasuke quickly sat up and glanced towards the door. It was silent. So he climbed out of bed, and opened the door.

He looked around, and saw a figure a few feet away from him.

Sasuke kept silent as he walked towards the figure silently. "Who's there?..." he called out.

The figure heard him and quickly ran away. Sasuke followed them. "HEY! I asked you a question! Get back here!"

The figure then ran outside with the raven right behind their heels.

Once they reached the garden, the figure climbed a tree.

Sasuke stopped and looked up, out of breath. "Show yourself!"

Sasuke only heard ruffling leaves as the figure climbed higher. It was dark, so Sasuke couldn't see anything.

He looked around and saw a lantern nearby, and grabbed it.

As he held it he continued to glance at the tree. "Come down! Or else I'll call guards to capture you!"

Sasuke heard nothing, but then a tree branch snapped.

The raven was about to walk away, before the figure had fallen off the tree. Though Sasuke had no clue who it was, he still ran and caught the figure.

Sasuke then brang the lantern closer, and saw who the figure was; Naruto.

The blonde grunted and peeked one eye open and saw Sasuke "Heh... You caught me."

Sasuke sighed "Why were you running around? I had to chase you, you know."

The blonde shrugged "I couldn't sleep. And, so, I played a little game of tag with you." he said with a smile.

Sasuke was currently carrying Naruto bridal style. So he just walked back into the castle. "Well, I'm going back to sleep. So are you."

Naruto huffed "I'm not going to sleep!"

"If you don't, you'll be tired in the morning." The raven replied.

Naruto crossed his arms "I don't care! Put me down!" he squirmed.

Sasuke ignored the blonde's pleads and continued to walk.

"If you can't fall asleep in your room... Do you want to stay with me for a little while?" The raven asked.

Naruto stared at Sasuke "Sure, I guess..."

The prince nodded and took the blonde to his room, and placed him onto the bed.

Naruto was wearing a nightgown, so he crossed his legs and just looked at Sasuke, who was dusting off the leaves from his clothes from Naruto's fall.

He then looked at Naruto "So, what would you like to do?"

The blonde shrugged "I don't know."

"How about a story?" The raven asked, looking through the small bookshelf.

"I don't like reading." The blonde stated.

"Then I'll read it to you." Sasuke said pulling out a book.

Naruto just nodded. The raven then sat next to him. "This might interest you." he said showing the book to Naruto. "I guess so."

"I think it'll be better if we lay down." Sasuke said laying back into the pillows.

The blonde hesitated, his cheeks tinting a red color, but he laid next to the raven, curling himself up into a ball.

Sasuke glanced at the blonde, and then began reading. 

A short time that passed, Naruto was still wide awake. The raven then wrapped his arm around the blonde, gently pulling him closer.

Naruto slightly blushed, but said nothing as Sasuke continued reading.

The blonde was soon deep asleep by the time Sasuke was in the middle of the story.

Sasuke couldn't help but look at Naruto. He's beautiful when he was asleep... Sasuke thought to himself.

The raven then pulled the covers close, and wrapped both arms around the smaller blonde, and held him close. 

Sasuke couldn't believe that the beautiful blonde boy was sleeping right next to him. Though it's been a few days since they met, it already feels like they know each other so well.

The raven couldn't help but give Naruto a small kiss on his forehead. If Itachi were here, he would tease Sasuke saying he is attached to the blonde, seemingly like he thinks the blonde is the one.

Sasuke had then fallen asleep with Naruto in his arms. 

This was an interesting night...
