Harvey Winters has always been an outspoken person, which is exactly why he had ended up at the airport with a forming bruise around his eye and a busted lip.

It wasn't like he was looking for the fight, he simply dropped by his parents house to pick up the few belongings he had left there when he went to college and "fell" into the fist of his father.

He didn't care that he'd been shoved or hit, or that his little sister he hadn't seen in person since he was 18 was still at school. He didn't even care that the only reason things had escalated and there was a physical altercation was because his sister was away and therefore the guilt his parents felt would be swept under a rug and left alone.

In fact, the only thing Harvey cared about was the disapproving and sympathetic looks from strangers surronding him as he waited for his flight to be called.

He only had a backpack on him with a change of clothes, snacks, water, and his laptop along with his chargers. The rest of his belongings had already been shipped over to a friend's house. Moving to another country was scary enough on its own but not having any friends over there would have killed his spirit.

Running a hand through his messy and tangled hair, Harvey opened his messages again and smiled when his sister's contact name popped up.

Harvey let's out a quiet laugh before deciding to post on Twitter just as a voice calls for his plane. He groans internally and stands up, swinging his bag back around his shoulder and making his way toward the boarding.

Harvey tried to sleep on the plane. It was an 11 and a half hour flight with a possible layover, after all.

Unfortunately that wouldn't happen, seeing as a small child was sat directly behind him and the pre-teen next to him had began asking him a million questions about why his face was busted up, where he was going, why he looked so tired.

So instead, he did what he could to keep himself awake by logging onto his laptop (it was in airplane mode, no need to worry) and pulling up the latest set of notes for a song he had been working on. He had been working on it for a few weeks now, along with a teaching himself how to play an instrument that wasn't piano. So far, he had maybe one verse completed.
