"Understood?"

"...understood" izuku sighed.

"Good.
Now come on."

Aizawa helped izuku to the dining room of the palace, since it was a different palace entirely he needed the bit of help.

There, plates of food were placed all around for izuku to eat.

"I'll get going now. Enjoy your food"
Aizawa said as he began to walk away.

"Thank you..."
Izuku said as Aizawa exited the door.
Aizawa paused, a bit surprised. He had been doing the bare minimum...

"...you're welcome"

Izuku sighed as he laid in his very uncomfortable bed, grateful that he just had a bed to begin with.

The words of his father repeated continuously throughout his head, like a nightmare he couldn't escape from.
He was happy Aizawa cared but... It wasn't enough to really make him feel better.

"I wish father didn't hate me so much...
I wish I had a better quirk...
I wish I was stronger... Life would be so much better...

...life would be better...

If Kacchan wasn't around... Father wouldn't have anyone to compare me with...
There wouldn't be anyone to replace me...

This is all his fault... If only he didn't have such a strong quirk...

If only he was weaker...
If only father didn't like him so much...

I miss the times before Kacchan would hurt me...
When we'd play tag in the garden...

Tears streamed down izuku's face as he toss and turned in his bed.
He stared out the large window of his room, it had originally been an attic but since he had to move into the palace they just gave him what was available.

It was a full moon that night.
His eyes glimmered in the light, the night sky was quite beautiful.

But his room wasn't, airborne dust could be seen because of that same light.

"I wish...

I was stronger..." Izuku whispered as he slowly shut his eyes.

However, seconds before he could close his eyes...
A silhouette appeared in the window.

"Hu-"

The glass window was completely shattered as the "silhouette" broke in.
"Finding you was easier than I thought!" They scoffed as they landed by the door.
Izuku quickly sprung up, his heart pounded through his chest.

"Aw would you look at that.
The crown prince is crying and trembling in fear.
What a sight to see."
They pulled out a sword, it had an emblem on it.

One izuku recognized.
...
It was the emblem of the enemy territory that neighbored by.

"Killing you is gonna be easier than I thought!"
They launched at Izuku, aiming the sword straight for his heart.
He quickly ducked, rolled, and dodged as he fell off the bed.

"Putting up a fight is no use, you might as well give up right now!

I can't even sense your presence, you must be so weak!
That's probably why you're up here all alone!"
They charged at Izuku again, panicked he tried to dodge again.
But this time he couldn't dodge completely...
