Sonic bounced off of a vehicle, which exploded behind him. He could feel the heat of the flames on his back. As he ran, his life on the line, he wondered where it had all began.
So much had happened in two days. Had it begun when he was found in a house? Had it begun that night on the baseball field? Perhaps it began with that day.
Yes. Despite his age, Sonic remembered that time very well.
