Epilogue

Evelyn's POV

I woke up again from my deep sleep but there's no Jade sleeping beside me. I creased my eyes when I saw a sticky note on her pillow.

"Follow your heart"

The note said and I know it was from Jade. I know her penmanship. I saw a heart shaped balloon on our bed. A heart with light inside that's why it's glowing. I smiled. Does she have a surprise to me? This early? Anong oras na ba?

Just like what Jade said, I follow my heart. On the floor, there's also a heart shaped balloon hanggang sa doorstep namin that was made from bamboo? Where did she brought me?

I walked again. Nasa labas na ako and I felt the breeze of the cold air. We're on the beach and we stayed at a cottage. That explains the freshness of the air.

Sinundan ko parin ang mga heart shaped balloons with lights inside. They are on the sand. Each step that I do, each balloon that I pass, it's telling me something. Telling me how much Jade loves me.

Naglakad pa ako until I saw Jade sa di kalayuan. I followed my heart, my heart that will always chase her.

When it's only a step away from her, binagalan ko ang paghakbang. I'm feeling it like it's our entourage on our wedding day. Habang palapit ako, my heart is telling me something. Like it's feeling its other half.

"Beautiful evening, mi amore." She greeted me with a sweet smile. It's still dark outside but her beauty is radiating.

"Beautiful evening, love." I greeted her back. She bit her lowerlip.

I was about to hug her but she suddenly extends her hand holding a bouquet of tulip.

"For you," she said softly. Malugod ko namang tinanggap ang inabot n'ya.

"Thank you," I said sweetly. I love receiving flowers if it's from her.

"Hindi ka na nagtataka kung bakit tulips?" Nakangising tanong n'ya. Napaisip ako. Tulips are one of the most beautiful flowers, I think it's normal.

"Not really," matipid na sagot ko. She hissed under her breath. I just chuckled. "Okay, why tulips?" Tanong ko para pagbigyan s'ya.

She stepped forward to close our gap. Nakangiti na ito ngayon. Her mood really changed from one to another realquick.

"Because if we have our own garden," she paused halfway. Lumapit pa s'ya until our lips are almost touching. "I would put our tulips together.." she whispered softly.

I smiled but my mouth are still shut. Gosh, I didn't even brushed my teeth, this is so annoying! I should have just used a mouth wash. While her breath smells like mint.

I gave her a quick peck on the lips. Umatras s'ya and looks at me with disappointment.

"Smack lang? Pambata naman." Dismayadong turan n'ya. I pushed her slightly.

"I didn't brush my teeth." Nahihiyang pag-amin ko. I was too excited about her surprise na hindi ko na naisipang magsipilyo.

"Ano naman? Nagmomorning sex nga tayo every—aray! Ouch, baby, masakit!" She complained nang kinurot ko nang pino ang right arm n'ya. "'Di pa tayo kasal battered wife na ako." She whispered something pero hindi ko na narinig.

"You were saying?" I raised my brow.

"Sabi ko ano naman nga kung nagsesex tayo everyday? Tayong dalawa lang dito oh walang makakarinig!" Mas nilakasan pa nito ang boses. I blushed in embarrassment.
