When Marinette returns to Clifton Prep after a summer interning as a costume designer, she is determined not to get distracted in her senior year, which seems easy since the Elites fell out.
However, Marinette soon realizes her whirlwind summer romance with pop sensation Luka Couffaine has followed her to school along with her ex-boyfriend, Adrien Agreste, and her old friendships just won't seem to die, no matter how much she might want them to.
Tensions rise when a dorm mix-up pairs Marinette with Chloe and Adrien with Luka, and when Adrien starts dating Kagami, Alya enlists Nino to help get Marinette and Adrien back together, even if it means breaking up both relationships for good.
