The night time ocean air flew through Blair's window as she laid in her bed. She traced her fingers along the bandana John B gave her around her neck.
She heard a slight tap at her window and thought nothing of it as she drifted to sleep. Before her eyes could get too heavy a knock caused her to jump. Blair quickly turned to reveal a shaggy haired brunette boy carefully peaking through her bedroom window sending her a small wave.
"John B you scared me" Blair stood to her feet and walked to her window opening it all the way allowing John B to climb in.
"Sorry," the boy stumbled before catching himself as he fully entered her room. He made his way over to her bed and sat down.
Blair followed behind him. "So what're you doing here? Not that I don't want you here, you're always welcome you know that" the girl rambled. "Just curious" she smiled.
"I couldn't sleep." was all he said before collapsing back onto the bed. Blair pulled her legs onto the bed and sat criss cross beside him.
"I mean I don't blame you there's just so much going on, it's insane." Blair spoke
John B laid there quiet for a moment lost in his own thoughts.
"We never really get much time with just the two of us anymore. Like to talk or anything" he said softly.
Blair then moved from her spot and laid her head on his chest. John B wrapped his arm around her. "Was there anything you wanted to talk to me about JB?" Blair smiled and looked up at the boy.
There was so much John B wanted to say and ask her but he really wanted to just savor this moment he had with her. He never felt more comfortable. Having the girl he loves in his arms.
"I don't know" was all the boy replied. After a moment had gone by Blair could hear soft snores as he had fallen asleep with her presence.
Blair pulled one of her blankets over the two of them and drifted off to sleep herself.

Blair woke before John B she admired his peaceful state. As she reached her arm over to brush a lock of hair from his face she noticed a severely dry patch of skin on her forearm.
If Blair did not hydrate her skin with the ocean's water often her skin would dry out. Quickly she locked her bedroom door so no one would find a snoring John B.
She changed in her bathroom into a swimsuit and sneakers and grabbed a bag as she climbed out her window making it look like she was on a morning run.

Her morning run led to a nearby beach with no one around. She hid behind some large rocks so she could carefully remove her swimsuit and shoes into her bag and hide it for when she returns.
She dove into the saltwater feeling instantly hydrated and her tail in place of her legs. She swam for miles.

When Blair broke to the surface she noticed she was quite close to the chateau. As she got closer a familiar figure caught her eye.
On the small dock right in front of the chateau, there stood Kie doing yoga by herself.
Blair smiled to herself thinking this would ne the perfect opportunity to scare her cousin. A part of her felt bad, but she couldn't help it.
She swam a bit closer, reached out her hand to manipulate the water into a small orb and held into right above Kiara's head. Kie was sitting with her legs crossed and her eyes closed. The girl covered her mouth to refrain from laughing, and then released her hold.
Kiara screamed as the water drenched her. She stood up immediately shaking the water out of her hair.
"Sorry sorry sorry!" Blair swam quickly over to the dock and rested her arms at the end of it, but continued to laugh.
"B! What the heck was that for?" Kie yelled drying herself with her towel. "And what are you doing out here? What if you get seen??" Kie bent down and whispered to her cousin.
"I made sure no one was around," Blair splashed her tail behind her. "Besides who else besides us is even up this early"
"Ya know I've never really seen you in your 'mermaid form' before" Kie said eyeing the scales and fin that stretched out behind the blonde.
"Weird huh?" Blair looked down
"Honestly, insanely awesome" Kie laughed making her cousin join.
"Kie! Where you at?" A familiar voice yelled near the chateau.
