Walking with Scott was not something he was planning but it was something he definitely needed
The two walked side by side near a river in silence until finally Scott broke it
"I have to go home tomorrow Jim I need to reassure people that i'm safe so that you know, you don't get attempted assassinations again" That sentence did not reassure Jimmy of his own safety but he simply nodded and continued walking with Scott
"Are you mad at me?" The question startled Jimmy, of course he wasn't mad at Scott he was inlove with him for cod's sake!
"No Scott what makes you think that petal?" The nickname made Jimmy cringe but it did make Scott a little red so 1 point for Jimmy
"Nothing it's just- you have been silent this whole time and I was worried that you were mad at me for something that i'd done" the elf said fidgeting with his fingers
The answer just made Jimmy smile and pull Scott in for a hug "Nothing could make me angry at you" Jimmy thought, he desperately wanted to say it out loud confess his love but what if Scott didn't love him back? What if the red on his cheeks was only because Scott gets flustered easily?
Thankfully like last time Scott didn't pull away he just gripped tighter on Jimmy's back and sobbed into his shoulder (Which Jim was not expecting)

Jimmy woke up early today so that he could say goodbye to Scott since Scott was a morning person and found him sitting in the kitchen
"Hey, you want some coffee?" A small nod from the other and Jimmy went over to the coffee machine to make two coffees
"Thank you for... giving me a hug yesterday" Jimmy froze as he remembered what happened yesterday, Scott falling asleep in Jimmy's arms and Jimmy carrying him back to his room (Scott's room you idiots it's not happening that fast be patient 😒)
"It was no problem Scott you are always welcome here" Jimmy said and placed the coffee infront of Scott and smiling
The smile was returned and Jimmy excused himself before Scott saw Jimmy's flushed face

Saying goodbye to the elf wasn't easy but atleast in the few days Scott had been with him they had established some sort of bond Scott even gave his scarf to Jimmy though not for such a wholesome reason "To remind you of your almost death" Scott chuckled "Yeah thanks" man Scott was never gonna leave him alone about that
"Alright, goodbye fish man" those were the final words before he saw the Rivendale king fly off
