Sausage pov

(My moral support died)

Once Gem was done with her speech, she raised her wand and pointed it into the sky. Sending a dark purple beacon into the clear morning sky. Soon, an amber coloured dragon rose up with the gem in it's claws, it bowed down to Lizzie letting her and Joel climb up before shooting into the sky once more 

He turned to Fwhip "So.. what do we do now?" The other smiled at him "Now we go back and fortify our kingdoms, meet me by sundown at the salmon sanctuary"

The entire rest of the day Sausage spent fortifying his empire, reassuring his subjects and a lot more. Finally at 7pm he dawned his elytra, grabbed a few fireworks, and shot into the sky

He decided to take the long route through the other kingdoms to see how they were doing, he quickly realized that they too, were fortifying their kingdoms with each empire having loads and loads og guards guarding every perimeter (except for Shrub, she had wolves)

Suddenly, an ear piercing scream ran through the valley and since this was Sausage he just HAD to investigate 

As he flew through the mountains he saw the dragon that was carrying the gem fall from the sky, tentacles growing out of it's body at every angle, it was clear this war the work of Xornoth

But he wasn't going to let the crystal drop, it had to be safely delivered to Lizzie's empire! Unfortunately for him, he forgot that Xornoth could effect anyone close to the crystal, long crimson tentacles suddenly emerged from the ocean. Dragging him down with his last weak attempt at a message notifying everyone he was alive 

"HEL"

Fwhip pov

It was past sundown already, why wasn't Sausage there yet? As he paced back and forth he heard his communicator beep, with no time tomlose he quickly pulled it out hoping that it would be Sausage

It just wasn't what he was wishing for

What looked like a feeble call for help flashed in and out of his communicator as concerned friends spammed chat, suddenly it was Scott's turn to ask for help with the message being almost clearer this time

"XORNOTH ESCAPED, HE'S IN RIVENDALE STAY IN YOUR KINGDO"

Damn this Xornoth, can't he just give them a break? And what happened to the dragon that was carrying the crystal? Did Xornoth attack it?

Too many questions and too few answers raced through Fwhips mind as he flew faster than he had ever flown in his life towards Rivendale

Once he landed, he noticed a concerning lack of a certain demon and ruler with the rest all gathered around

Gem cursed as she recived news from the younger, more agile dragons "The amber dragon was attacked by Xornoth, both Sausage and Scott have been dragged into Xornoth's realm"

Jimmy looked like he was about to explode with anger before his sister stepped behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder, if only Fwhip could feel anger, right now he just froze there out of shock 

Lizzie then spoke up "Is there any other way of reaching Xornoth's dimension other than.. y'know, getting dragged down"

Gem shook her head "Unfortunately no, if I had more time I would be able to search for more ways but- FWHIP"

Fwhip was about to ask why his sister yelled his name when he did nothing wrong when he realized he was getting dragged down, before he could react the tentacles pulled him down for good, sealing the hole

Jimmy pov

It was one thing to have your lover snatched from you again, it was another thing to watch it happen to someone else

He stood there frozen as Fwhip was snatched down. It was like he was there and then he wasn't

In the blink of an eye, all of the leaders were up on their feet, oh high alert as if one of them was going to get dragged down at any moment

Jimmy quickly whipped his head towards Joey's direction, if Xornoth was targeting the ones that were close to him he would obviously go for Joey next, and he was right

The next thing he knew Joey was looking up at Pearl with fearful eyes as he was dragged down

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Gem struck her staff into the ground 3 times, a signal of distress

Soon, dragons came flying in left and right 

She had just enough time to scream "Climb onto your dragons! They'll follow mine!" Before he dragon carried her away

With nothing to lose, Jimmy hopped onto his dragon and prayed that Scott would be alright
