Jimmy pov

They were nearing the dimension and he was sure of it, the air had gotten so thick and humid he could hardly breathe. Crimson red tentacles stretched out into the sky and were thankfully, unmoving

Large spots of land had floated to the skys and left holes so deep Jimmy was sure they only led into the abyss known as the void

The beating of the dragons' wings were the only sound from the group as everyone avoided talking to save up their strength, afterall this was the end game that everyone had awaited and they weren't going to lose it

Suddenly, in the horizon Jimmy spotted what looked like an ancient castle standing lone on a mountain with large tentacles longer than those before at the foot of said mountain

As they neared the castle Gem suddenly put her hand up and pointed at the ground before diving, a sure sign of 'get your asses down'

Once the party had landed Gem spoke in a clear and determined voice "The castle is protected by a barrier, one that the dragons would surely get harmed by if they touched it. We'll have to enter through the designated pathway" She said before pointing to what looked like a path through the thorns

For the second time, Pearl spoke up "Xornoth definitely placed traps along that pathway, are you sure there aren't any other entrances?"

Gem shook her head; "No Pearl, Xornoth wouldn't risk extra entrances that would take more magic and energy to enchant, although I agree that this is highly risky, it's the only way we could ever enter"

Lizzie climbed off her dragon and after whispering with Katherine for awhile, spoke up "Me and Katherine can't control anything, there's no water for me anywhere and Katherine says that the thorns are out of her control. You all be more vulnerable in battle without the extra magic, is that okay?"

Pixl thought about this before adding his thoughts "Actually, I might be able to cause a sandstorm or thunderstorm. Due to the humid and dry environment it would be easier for me to cause such things. So if the battle ever gets too heated I could help with support aswell as adding another magic user in"

Lizzie smiled at him and muttered a small "Thank you" before turning to the rest and raising her trident. "Our friends and families are being held inside, we have nothing to lose except for their precious lives. Are we ready?"

A loud cheer went through the group as Gem led them towards the entrance, casting a long shadow on the ground as she walked

Jimmy sighed before leaving the dragons where the rest had left them. Gem had said that the dragons would always be okay with being left alone as they could withstand any environment with relative ease but would be helpless in battle due to their gigantic sizes

With a glance back at his dragon, he followed the group into what he hoped wouldn't be their doom

Scott pov

He was running

Running from what? Running from where?

He didn't know, he was just running

Whenever he looked back, all he saw was an infinite abyss. He didn't know why but that inspired his desire to continue running

However before he was about to run out of energy, a loud clear voice that sounded like it was coming from the heavens rang out; "Scott wake up"

He shot up and quickly looked around, he was in a white room with white furniture. How did he get here? Why wasn't he at home? Where was everyone?
