The shushing whispers
The muffled cries
The loud whimpers
When the soul dies
Brimming eyes
yet fake smiles
The jokes that fate played on me
Destroying myself and slandering me
Making me a monster that I can't bear to see
First burning me in fire
Than setting me free
And still with audacity it asks
How did you turn out like this?
And even if I try to mask
The darkness and beast inside me
Someday it will burst out for the world to see
That I am not what I desired to be
I'm the one fate wanted me to be
Am I a monster?
Am I a beast?
A vengeful one
With the desire to avenge
The desire for revenge

Inaya sat there on the plush grass of garden looking at the sky gloomily where hues of orange were mixing with yellow across the horizon. The birds were chirping and she could feel the wind touching her soft skin swaying her luscious hair.
A soft sigh left her lips looking at the flying birds. They looked so free, so happy, with their family. Her eyes followed them till their flock was out of her sight.

She heaved out a soft exhale of breath and looked at her lap. She stretched her small slender palms and looked at them. They looked so empty. So void.

The sound of footsteps echoed behind her as she felt the shiny black boots stopping beside her on the grass. It was silence for few seconds before she finally mustered up the courage and
raised her head knowing who the Intruder was due to the scent of cologne that immediately filled the air. Only to find him standing with his hand stretched towards her,
"Come on let's go".
Under the setting sun, his Hazel brown orbs reflected the yellow and orange hues of the sky. The long thick canopy of dark lashes casting shadows on his cheeks under the sunlight and the wind ruffling his hair causing the loose strands on his forehead to dishevel more. He looked like the part of disheveled yet deadly charming sunset itself. He stood there leaning a bit with his hand stretched towards her.

Inaya who was too taken aback at his sudden appearance and cherry on top his stretched hand, immediately skidded back abruptly in panic and fear,
"W-what"?

She saw Zaviar Shah straightening up at seeing her skidding back as he raised his head and looked at the sky portraying the breathtaking view of sunset. Dressed in light blue fitted jeans folded an inch above the ankles with a white turtle neck full sleeved sweater and a long dark blue knee length coat over it that was left unbuttoned from front, his frame made a striking contrast with the light blue and orange sky making him look like a part of portrait itself. A portrait that was very exquisitely and finely drawn.

Inaya was awestruck for few seconds before she immediately turned her head down facing her lap with her cheeks flushed pink.

It was after few seconds that she heard his soft voice,
"I thought you wanted to go out and breath fresh air".
She raised her head and found him looking at her, his light orbs strangely warm as he completed,
"Therefore I wanted to take you out. Will you go with me Inaya"?

The first thing that struck her frame like a lightening thunderbolt was shock. Utter shock. Her kidnapper aka Zaviar Behram Shah was actually presenting the idea of taking her out, I repeat out of the premises of his territory.
She thought he'd kill her if she ever so thought about exiting or escaping the place again.

Her subconscious wanted to ask him,
"Aren't you scared I'll escape"?

But her mouth betrayed her as she asked in a low voice,
"Where"?
