There was a large gasp, blood dripping down from Kari's lips. Red stained her clothes, the steady dripping formed the puddle under her as she raised a shaking hand to the wound. She didn't even have the energy to let out a cry when the sword was roughly ripped out of her stomach, body falling to the ground and hand placing on her bleeding stomach. The puddle only growing under her. "This is what you get for speaking out Kari."

Her eyes opened, hand traveling toward her stomach as she was sitting besides one of the shelves in the forge. Orange light coming from outside the window, loud roars and battle cries echoing. There was a small shake to her hand, heart seeming to still race with the thought of dying. "Kari? What are you doing back here?"

She blinked, looking up at the brunette before smiling at him. He smiled back at her without hesitating, holding out a hand toward her to help her up. "Don't be afraid, this raid'll be over before you know it."

Her eyes looked toward the window, not even realizing that there was a raid going on. Dragons were destroying the village, it was a normal thing for Berk; watching the dragons attack the Vikings and carry off their food. Oh how Kari longed to be killed by one of these beasts.

Her hand slipped into his, allowing the brunette to help her up. He sat besides her on the stool while looking at her closely, finally checking if she was hurt from her father after last night. "Did... Did he hurt you for last night?"

Hiccup always tried to find her after he felt that she was hurt, always tried to give her excuses not to be at the house when he could. He tried the most to help her and it was something that Kari really appreciated. Kari shook her head, lying to him with a smile to deter him. Hiccup sighed, hanging his head at hearing that. He knew she just lied and he didn't like it; reaching a hand out to hold hers. "You... You can be honest with me, you know that?"

Kari knew she really couldn't because there was nothing that he could do to stop her father. All because his father just allows it to continue; he just turns the blind eye and pretend like everything's fine. Because of the chief doing that... no one reached a hand out for Kari. Because if they chief didn't do anything, why should they?

Gobber stepped inside the forge to change out his peg hand when he noticed the two teenagers. He focused on Hiccup holding onto her hand and sighed with shaking his head; knowing Kari's going to get hurt if she gets attached. But instead of offering a helping hand, he did what he always did instead and turned away.

"With hair like fire and soul broken, scars will paint across the skin. Your rider will need you in this lowest time, but will soon become a powerful warrior with your help-"

"So it was her. Thank you Moonstone." Silverflame cut off the oracle dragon, diving back into the water and leaving the flightmare to sigh. Moonstone hung her head, shaking softly. "She never hears the end of that prophecy..."

Moonstone walked back to the large opal stone, placing her head on the smooth surface while closing her glazed eyes. The only sight she has left is in her dreams.

With hair like fire and soul broken, scars will paint across the skin. Your rider will need you in this lowest time, but will soon become a powerful warrior with your help. Hosting a curse, balancing on the sword's edge with threatening to fall every second. Moonstone opened her eyes, staring at the darkness that she's grown to know. It worried her of what could that curse could be, but she trusted the universe at the same time.

Silverflame knew that she needed to get back to her rider, just having a feeling that she was in trouble. So the night fury pushed herself, no breaks and no resting. She felt the temperature move from warm to cold, frost hanging in the air as Silverflame was the fastest flyer in the nest. If anyone could save her rider, it would be Silverflame.
