"So... Where's teach?" Leif asked as he was taking off his soaked shirt, ringing out the water. Ruffnut was staring, with no shame, as Paradox was standing guard against any dragons who may be looking at Leif like they were going to attack him.

"Whoa, whoa, who are you?" Hiccup asked, wanting to know who this was that just waltzed into the oasis like he knew Reaper. Leif glanced back at the brunette, tilting his head. He's always known Reaper to hate people, so it took him off guard to see other people...

"I really need to know where teach is. It's important." Leif argued, not wanting to argue right now. Not when there's bigger things at play. Bigger things that could be putting the oasis in trouble- or even Reaper. "Wait... Teach? Are you talking about Reaper?"

"Yea; that's my teacher." Leif crossed his arms while the alpha was surprised at hearing that. He didn't know that Reaper would taking a guiding role to someone else. "Who are you guys? She doesn't like people."

"We're from her home, and we're trying to bring her back." Hiccup explained, Leif's eyes widened at hearing that. Feeling nervous now and feeling more urgent on trying to find Reaper. Leif never knew the full story, Reaper would never spill too much information about themselves. But from what Leif could piece together from the little things that Reaper allowed to slip by, he knew that the home life she escaped from wasn't good.

"I... I see." He mumbled, looking around for her. The worrisome feeling only grew the more he couldn't find her. What if they did something to her?

Leif knew that Reaper could take care of herself, figuring the first time he met her she had killed a whole group of Vikings. But still... It made him worried. "But you guys... I don't know how you got here."

"How did you get here?" Dagur asked, crossing his arms and ready to swing on Leif. The merchant remembered how he got there, feeling a bit embarrassed at the thought of it. "I just sailed south..."

Loud sounds of dragons is what told Leif that he was close, looking around to see what Reaper's home looked like. Reaper never let anything slip about her home, not where to go or what to do. But Leif knew he needed to warn Reaper...

So he did what he knew, he began sailing. Leif knew Reaper always wore warmer clothes, so she had to be from the south and that's the only thing he went off of. And by the sounds of it, he thinks he found it.

The sharp tail went through the mast, making he jump out of the way and summersault to the side to avoid getting nabbed by the swooping deadly nadder. "Whoa! What the?"

Leif was trying to go against dragons, dragons who had the home field advantage and he was a sitting duck. But... He did have one advantage, one dragon that he knows will protect him. "PARADOX! OH SHI-"

He fell off the side of the boat, claws just lightly scratching the falling boy. Crashing back in the ocean and hearing the roars above the waves, flashes of light crackling told him exactly who came.

"Paradox, I'm fine." Leif said when he heard his friend growling lowly, hand pressing on her snout and watching her relax. She lowered her defensive position, nudging against him softly. "Where did you come from?"

"Ah... The Northern market." All the riders went on edge at hearing that, quickly looking between each other. Dagur tightened his hand on his axe, setting Paradox to growl again. "Where... the dragon hunters are?"
