So...

Who cares about what happened on Thursday? The only interesting thing that happened was that Kaden almost choked eating an apple and Mark saved him from dying.

Now it's Friday, I wake up in the morning feeling tickles in my hands from excitement, my heart just races whenever I think about the words "admirer" "dance" or "mask"

I stood up and walk my way to the bathroom, I look at myself in the mirror and notice how my face is completely lighted up by the excitement, I look jovial and happy, I can barely breath.

After getting ready I go downstairs to find my dad making pancakes, which surprises me.

Yn: Morning!

Dad: Sugar pie! Hey!

Yn: Why are you here? I thought you had work?

Dad: Today's a special day! It's your first dance I want to be here ready to take pictures!

I smiled at my dad sharing my happiness

Yn: I didn't know you knew how to cook pancakes

Dad: Oh I don't! I just learned; this is my seventh try

I laughed

Yn: Smells good!

Dad: Do you want it with fruit or syrup?

Yn: Uh- both?

Dad: Wise decision!

Yn: Ha!

We laughed, my dad served a plate for me, two pancakes, syrup and a mix of strawberries and blueberries, I started to eat, even though I wasn't hungry at all, the excitement was too much for me and I had a knot in my throat.

Dad: Oh, I just remembered!

Yn: Yeah?

Dad: Who is picking you up?

Yn: Remember Maia's uncle?

Dad: The one who was in prison because of fraud?

Yn: Remember you defended his case?

Dad: Harold?

Yn: Yeah, him!

Dad: Ah! My old friend how could I forget, what about him?

Yn: He did a couple of paperwork and leased us a limo!

Dad: ...legally?

Yn: ...I assume?

Dad: Woah! That's awesome

Yn: I know right? I'm very excited

Dad: But that's not what I meant, Yn

Yn: Huh?

Dad: I meant, who are you going to the dance with?

Yn: You mean, like a partner?

Dad: Yeah! like... a chambelan?

I laughed

Yn: No one, it's just gonna be me and my friends

Dad: What about Brent?

Yn: Albert-

Dad: Oh yeah, Albert

Yn: He's not going to the dance

Dad: Why not?

Yn: He has a family commitment

Dad: Too bad! I really like that guy!

Yn: ...I know-

Dad: He's a gentleman
