After a whole Sunday that I spent playing video games with Kaden online, Monday is back, with my heavy backpack filled with notebooks I arrive school early in the morning, I'm not really paying attention at my surroundings, but when someone shouts my name I still jump in surprise. I turn my gaze to the right to see my friend Jack who jogs until he's in front of me, his hair is messy and under his eyes there's dark bags decorating his face, he seemed exhausted as if he had run a marathon without drinking any water.
Jack: Hey!
Even with his terrible look, he gave me a warm smile.
Yn: Are you okay?
I said concerned he nodded
Jack: Yeah, why?
Yn: You look like a zombie
He laughed
Jack: I didn't sleep very well, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that I was here early again-
I gasped
Yn: Oh I forgot!
Mark right-
He nodded again
Jack: Well you know the drill, I was here at five, the school opened later I was the first one here, the younger people arrived, Maia, Jake, Albert and then...
I groaned
Yn: Again?
Jack: It was a lot weirder this time, he walked to your locker and placed his hand on top of it, then he just left
I face palmed myself
Yn: ...I guess it's Mark then
Jack: I want to be happy for you but... you don't seem happy
I groaned again
Yn: It's just-! I don't know what to do
Jack: Let's see the bright side, Mark is nice with you right?
Yn: ...Yeah
Jack: And uh- he's not ugly
I laughed
Yn: He's really handsome I guess
Jack: And he takes care of you
I smiled
Yn: Yeah, he does
Jack: And he saved you from an imminent death
Yn: Uh huh...
Jack: He's boyfriend material!
I thought about it for a while
Yn: Well-
Jack: Picture this...
Yn: ...
Jack: You two, holding hands, kissing...?
I wrinkled my nose
Yn: I don't know-
Jack: Yn you have to deal with it sooner or later
Yn: ...I guess I'll talk with him after class
Jack: And after that you better call me and tell me everything
I nodded
Yn: It's not like I can tell anyone else
Jack: I feel like a proud dad
I laughed
Yn: Why?
