My Brother's Best Friend [Unedited]

Today is one of the days that I'm able to visit my little brother Arthur race in F3. I know that with me being a famous and successful F1 driver with Ferrari that he is now having to live up to the expectations of being my brother.  I want to be there to support him, but I know he needs to find his own path in auto racing. 

I got up and ready for the day. I decided to wear one of my red Ferrari polo shirts and jeans. After I got dressed it was almost time to head out so I grabbed my keys and sunglasses and headed out the door. 

*skip car ride* 

By the time I made it to the track Arthur had already finished with his practice. When I walked into the paddock I saw him talking to a beautiful girl that immediately caught my eye. They both looked comfortable with each other and were constantly cracking jokes. Both of them didn't notice me for a while, but the girl who was with Arthur finally looked up. She turned to Arthur "Arth someone's here to see you." Arthur looked towards the front of the paddock and saw me. He put his things down and walked up to give me a hug. "Arthur I'm going to give you two some time to catch up. I'll be in your drivers room, you can come and get me once you head out for the race." As I was starting to head to Arthur's driver's room he caught my attention "Wait, Lyss this is my older brother Charles the one I was telling you about. He races for Ferrari in F1 and he came to watch my race today."

"Hi Charles, I'm Alyssa it's nice to meet you." I didn't respond for a couple minutes because I was mesmerized by her voice, but I felt Arthur elbow me subtly in my ribs which snapped me out of my trance. "It's nice to meet you too. How long have you been friends with my brother?" 

"I've known Arth for about a year now. I haven't been able to go to a lot of his F3 races last season due to my work schedule, but I always watched his races on tv when I could." I saw she looked at Arthur and they looked at each other with adoration. 

I realized it was almost time for Arthur to get ready to head out for the race. "Arthur it's almost race time for you." He nodded his head at me and then turned to Alyssa so he could speak with her. "Lyss will you be okay in the paddock by yourself?" She nodded her head at him "Arth don't worry I'll be okay. I won't leave thee paddock while you're racing. I'll be here when you get back. Good Luck you'll do amazing." The two hugged and I stood to the side. Once their hug was done Arthur again turned to me "I'll see you after the race Charles. Look after Lyss during the race." 

While the race was going on Alyssa was staring at the TV intently. She was so focused on the TV and Arthur's race. I couldn't help but admire her friendship with my brother. She was so supportive of him and understanding as well. I couldn't help but let my mind wander and think about what it would be like to have her at one of my races. I didn't realize how long I was spaced out for until I heard Alyssa screaming and cheering loudly. I looked up at the TV and saw Arthur was currently in P1 and he had two more laps to go. After a couple of minutes the race finally finished Arthur placed P1. He came back to the paddock and Alyssa ran up to give him a hug. "Congrats bro."

"Thanks Charles. Why don't we all head to dinner after podium and media." 

I was excited to get to know Alyssa while at dinner. Arthur left again to go to do podium and his media. While waiting for Arthur I decided to go on instagram since I haven't checked it since this morning.
