Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka were mere memories to Inazuma

Ei's POV

What a...strange dream I had. I opened my eyes, seeing nothing but darkness outside. "What...?" I thought. Why was...someone talking about the past of Inazuma and a 'savior'? This... wasn't normal. Was something going to happen? Why do I have a feeling that..that person was talking about Y/N. And me corrupting her. Either way, that doesn't make sense. She's the one who chose to stay here with me, and I'm still completely joyful about it, but...why would she had accepted my confession if she truly wanted to leave? She would've planned something at the least.

This hurts my head, honestly. I looked outside. It was more darker than normal outside. It was as if...no nevermind, that can't happen. I looked over at Y/N, noticing that she was shaking. In her sleep, which is sort of..odd. I ran over to her, shaking her awake. "Huh...?" She groaned. She didn't look well. "Are you alright?" I asked her. She looked as if she had seen a ghost. "Ei," Y/N spoke plainly. "What have you done?"

Flashback ; Y/N's dream

"Huh..?" You had muttered. You were in a room, not much being around you. The room is pretty much pitch black except for one dimly lit candle. You furrowed your eyebrows. Your vision was a bit blurry, as you couldn't make out any of the scattered papers that lay unattended. You went to move around, assuming you were tied to a chair. You weren't. "That's...weird?" You began questioning this scenario in your head.

You heard light footsteps that grew louder every second. You held your breath, assuming that this person was growing near, so you thought maybe they wouldn't hear you. These footsteps eventually stopped, and you felt this person's presence through the door. Your eyes widened slightly. The door creaked open, and you saw the silhouette of a young man. You thought of the wide selection of people whom knew Ei and you. "Thoma? Ayato? Kazuha? And any others?" Even though you thought this, you felt as if the man knew what you were thinking.

"I'm not who you think I am, little girl. You haven't even met me before. So I wouldn't try coming up with possibilities on who I am," this man had a bitter way of speaking, no hint of kindness in his words. Once again, you furrowed your eyebrows. "Confused? Eh, fair enough I guess," The man started. "Look, I haven't brought you here to torture or anything like that- but that would be fun I guess- but that's not my mission," he paused for a moment. "My mission is to warn you about how dangerous the Shogun is and can be," he sighed. "She's not dangerous-" "You know she is. Hasn't she like, murdered people in front of you?" You stayed silent. "Exactly,"

"Now, we clearly know that she has openly murdered three people. The victims names being..." as he began, the room lit up in uncomfortable manner, showing black shadow-like silhouettes. Three to be exact. "Yoimiya: the first victim," the first silhouette began to gain color and more shape to it, forming to look almost identical to Yoimiya.

"As well known across Inazuma, Yoimiya worked at Naganohara Fireworks, alongside her father, whom is partially deaf as he has very unfortunate hearing problems. Now, Yoimiya originally had a missing case filed for her, that was until- and you might not know this- but she was eventually found. And that's why the case stopped, if your curious about that at all. Yoimiya was known to a cheerful girl, not many people disliked her," the Yoimiya silhouette showed her laughing and smiling. This made some sort of guilt fill up in you. You gulped. How much was the random man going to guilt trip you? It seemed he noticed your uneasiness, you could tell he just brushed it aside, not wanting to care.

"Continuing, her death was a shock to Inazuma," the Yoimiya silhouette grew transparent, stopping at about 50% with a very familiar God gaining an appearance. The smile on the silhouettes face grew into a frown. "No one expected such an innocent girl to be murdered, so this definitely was a shock. The one thing many wouldn't expect was who the murderer was. Who would've thought the Shogun had time to commit such a tragedy. Her friends and family; devasted and upset. Her death cannot be undone," he passed after noticing your shaking hands. You could feel his eyes on you, piercing through you. This made you feel uneasy. You felt his gaze only get more intense, causing you to shiver.
