Hey guys. Sorry for the delay. As your about to see, this is a looooong chapter. The longest chapter I've ever written, it took me 4 days to write this so i hope i delivered. The next chapter after this will be the final one. I can't thank you people enough for all the support and love this book has received, it never fails to flatter me. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, i worked my a** off with this one lol.

Hermione POV

A little over a month later, Christmas Day.

Love. You're either for it or totally against it. It has always been a mystery to me for as long as I can remember, well that was before I got involved with Draco anyway. But before him it was a topic that played my mind for a long time. You read about love in books, you see first hand (in my case it was Harry and Ginny) and you think you understand what it means, but you never really understand it until you fully experience it yourself. Draco entered my life for the first time back on my first day of Hogwarts, and I honestly thought he was the meanest most revolting person I had ever come across. I believed that nobody could get any worse then him. But that was only my twelve year old self speaking, I had no real experience of life or people back then. It's kind of funny really, the way you can go from hating somebody so much that you want to hex them out of this world, to loving them so much that you forget about the other things you have in life. I suppose the moral of this story is that maybe the devil in your life is an angel in disguise.

"Hermione! Hermione! Wake up." An excited feminine voice disturbs me from my slumber. I slowly fluttered my eyes open to see a fresh faced Ginny smiling down at me. "No time for an extra hour in bed, it's Christmas! Get up."

I groaned as I grabbed the nearest pillow and put it over my face. I really wished I could stay asleep a few minutes longer, merely because I was dreaming about Draco, like I do most nights now. Ginny giggles before forcefully removing the pillow and throwing it aside. "Come on lazy bones. We have an exciting day ahead of us."

"Alright, I am up." I respond as I slowly sit up stifling out a long yawn. Like most times I am at the Burrow, I slept in Ginny's room last night. Her spacious sized and alarmingly tidy room was practically my own Bedroom now. Since we departed school Ginny and I spent almost every waking moment together, whenever she wasn't with Harry of course. I made the decision to spend the holidays at the Burrow with the Weasley's mainly because I wanted to make up for lost time. And by that, I mean that since Draco and I became official just over a month ago, I was practically with nobody else other than him for most of the time. I knew I just couldn't say no when Ginny enthusiastically asked me to join her, Harry and the rest of her Family for Christmas, and to be perfectly honest I had no clue where I wanted to go for Christmas. Draco is currently staying at his Mother's house for Christmas due to the fact she sent him a letter specifically requesting him to. He didn't want to go at first, but I encouraged him to seeming as I was going to be with the Wesley's anyway for Christmas. Draco being Draco, he wasn't exactly pleased at the prospect of being away from me for two weeks, I wasn't either, I missed him every day. However we both agreed that absence makes the heart grow fonder and we'll at least have a lot to talk about when we see each other again in a few days. We still communicated via letter almost every day too, so we didn't have zero contact with one another.

"So what do you think you'll wear for today?" Ginny asks me as she made her way towards her dressing table and picked up her hair comb, delicately running it through her long locks.

I shrugged. "Uh... Maybe that black dress you bought me in Hogsmeade a while back... you know the silk one?"

Ginny grins, seeming pleased with herself that I was finally going to wear something that she specifically picked out for me. "It's about time. It looked amazing when you tried it on."
