12. A Common Enemy

V stretches her wings as she says with an evil glowing smile:

- Time for V... To get her revenge!

Uzi looks at V shocked as Dio then asks:

- If I am not wrong, that is the murder drone you captured?

- Yeah... That's her...!

V then sees Dio and gives him a good look:

- A human? What are you doing here? Wait...

V scans Dio and can't see any heartbeats:

- You... You are not a human!

V then gets her knives out and her wings ready to fly up to them, she then says:

- You are kind of cute tho, too bad I will have to kill you...!

Dio smiles at that comment as he gets The World ready while staying beside Uzi.

V notices Uzi and says:

- As for you, I will tie you up... And make you beg for you life!

Uzi isn't scared by any of her words, Dio extends his arms in front of her, as if he is preventing her from going forward, he then says:

- Let me handle this.

- Huh?

- Don't tell me you expect to be taken seriously without even a weapon in your hands, go!

Uzi then ran away in the mist, V then screams at her while laughing maniacally:

- Where do you think you are going?!

V flies to the direction of Uzi but gets punched away by something invisible. She fells to the snow face first, she eventually gets up while holding her head:

- What was that?!

Dio then reveals himself through the most as the one who punched her before, he then says:

- Focus on your true enemy robot. You are fighting me! Not her.

- And who are you to tell me what to do? She says with a crazy smile.

- If you dare fly away from this fight, I will have to make this less interesting for the both of us. He says with a smile.

V gets angry at that comment, easily intimidated by Dio. She then says while charging at him:

- Then come on!

Dio stands still as she eventually reaches him, just before she could touch him, he said:

- The World...!

Before she could even think about what he just said, she gets punched 20 times in the stomach in the speed of light.

V gasps as she is thrown in the air by Dio's attack, before she could recover in the air using her wings, she was grabbed by the throat from Dio, they both fell in the ground with Dio slamming her in the snow.

She was trapped in his grasp as Dio stared at her while holding her down:

- What? Is this the best a murder drone can do? He says with a smile.

She begins grind her teeth as then says:

- I can do even more...!

Before Dio could react, his arm is cut off by one of her knives in her fingers.

That was enough to catch Dio off guard, she escaped his grasp and kicked him into a nearby pile of trash.

She stand up while facing the direction she threw him on. V holds Dio cut hand in her palm as she says playfully:

- Oh noooo... It looks like you will need a hand in order to win this battle...!

There is no answer, until she begins to hear footsteps coming through trash and the mist.

She looks around her and finally spots him casually walking right at her:

- What... How...

- That had to be... The worst joke... I have ever heard in my entire life! Says Dio angrily.

V steps back confused:

- Why aren't you... Bleeding to death?!

Then Dio looks at his right arm, which has been severed for the second time in the same day and says:

- You said it yourself... I am NOT human...! He says as his right arm regenerates.

V couldn't believe what she was seeing as she commented:

- What... What are you...???

Dio appears right in front of her and smashes her face in.

She falls back while trying to stay on her feet, she quickly opened her wings and flew right at him.

Dio knew he couldn't attack her head on when she used attack like those, so he took some steps back and began to dodge her moves.

But as he dodged, he couldn't see any opening, she was just getting faster and faster.

Eventually Dio screamed:

- THE WORLD!

Time stopped as Dio looked at the now frozen V, he soon noticed that one of her knives was going straight for his head. He would have been in big trouble if he hadn't stop time.

He takes a few steps back and throws two punches at her, then he says:

- Time will resume.

As time resumed, V was thrown back once again by the heavy punches of Dio's stand.

Dio stood tall as he watched her try to get up, he then said with an evil smile:

- You are starting to disappoint me drone!

V got up, with some electricity popping out of her, she had received so much damage that she was barely able to fanction anymore.

She then said with a smile:

- I didn't think that I will have to use this... But you are sooooo annoyingly strong...!

Dio raised an eyebrow as he waited for the drone to continue:

- I wonder what will happen... Once I put all of my systems at 100%...!

Dio's eyes widen as V opened her wings with such force that the air managed to clear some of the mist.

Her eyes were turned into an x and her smile couldn't be wider, Dio watched with shock as the murder drone became something else, a complete killing machine...

He could tell, she was different. She was stronger, faster, smarter.

- So this is what it's like to be 100%!!! IT'S INCREDIBLE!!! Screamed V with an evil smile.

Dio kept looking at her, he wondered how much powerful she just got. He also thought about her keeping all this power hidden all this time, can N do that too? Does it have any disadvantages? Thus making it not safe to use?

Dio wasn't sure about any of this, he just stood there, with his guard up as he said silently:

- So this is where the real battle begins...!
