CHAPTER SIXTEEN

A/N: This is the continuation of the last chapter (chap.15) and so I advise you to read it first before this to avoid confusion. Some of you may know na ang "championship hug" ng ThirBea,is nung S84 ng UAAP pero baka magtaka kayo kasi ang setting dito sa LFN is iba na,upo iba po talaga,so wag po kayong maguluhan. Dito sa LFN naglaro pa si Ate Alyssa and others na sa totoo or sa S84 is hindi naman iniba ko po talaga,I just inserted the "championship hug" of ThirBea cause it's so iconic. I smile as I look at the bouquet of white roses on my lap,I'm here sitting in the passenger seat of Thirdy's car. Dito na ako sumabay since he'll be heading to our house naman,all of them to be exact I think mom had prepared another party for me,every game na nga ata.

My smile froze when I remember my plan. Hindi ko yun masyadong naisip kanina kasi naglalaro kami but hindi ko pinatulog nun kagabi. I sighed,this is such a perfect day, will be a perfect night also if there's nothing that bothers me. The battle between doing my plan or not is keep on going in my head but I promised to Kuya.. I sighed again and again.

Bahala na

I look at Thirdy's direction who's been quiet since he started driving. He look so serious and his fingers were gripping the steering wheel tightly. I feel like I am about to cry because of the nervousness I feel. Mas natatakot ako now that I can see him so serious.

I gulped as I feel my hand turn cold.

When we arrive at our house hindi pa muna kami bumaba pinakiramdaman ko si Thirdy but he's not moving so look at him, he's just staring at his steering wheel not moving,parang sobrang lalim ng iniisip niya. I just stare at him and wanted to say sorry na,sobra akong naguguilty,I don't know kung ano ang iniisip niya probably it's not connected to what I am thinking but I just feel awful and this is killing me .

I stiff when he look at me with those sad eyes,he looks tired but smiling. He reach for my cheeks,cupped it then he move forward I close my eyes and for whatever will happen. To my dismay I felt him kiss my forehead and cheeks. When I open my eyes he look away.

I saw him sighed heavily.

"Uhm let's go Bea?". He ask,natigilan ako why is he calling me 'Bea'? But I immediately dismiss the thought and just nod.

Nauna siyang bumaba,I sighed before following, he waited for and we went inside together holding hands.

As we went inside we saw Davin with ate Mela,nagulat ako ng padabog na binitawan ni Thirdy ang kamay ko at naunang maglakad papunta kay Davin,he carried and kiss Davin's head like he missed him so much. I gulped when I saw Thirdy crying while swaying Davin slowly.

What's wrong with him?

I look away as I feel like I am about to cry. I helped mom entertain our visitors which is my teammates lang naman and other friends.

"Ate Bei,ayaw ibigay ni Thirds si Davin". Reklamo ni Deanna

My eyes went to two whose on the side of the pool,Thirdy is carrying him still while pointing at the sky. I think his showing Davin the stars.

"Sus Deanna wag mo na ngang disturbohin nagbobonding ang mag-ama". Bulong ni Ponggay.

I gulped and drink on my beer, I need this to strengthen my confidence na every second bumababa dahil sa kaba.

"Woi okay na ba ang Plano mo?". Tanong ni Jho

I feel my eyes watered that I had to stop it before nodding and standing up,kabang-kaba ako,my heart almost went out from my rib cage,I inhaled and walk faster. Just as I reach Thirdy's back he look my direction,medyo nagulat pa siya.
