Brotherly Conversation

He spotted Emersyn somewhere away from the rest of the tribes. He opened his mouth to call to her but stopped himself. He had no idea why or why Emersyn was doing whatever she was doing but he had a feeling it was something tawtute people do.

When Tsu'tey felt like he couldn't wait anymore he softly asked "What are you doing?". Emersyn opened her eyes and looked at Tsu'tey. There was something in her eyes that looked almost spiritual. "Are you really going to make it a habit of finding me?" Emersyn questioned and Tsu'tey looked away to avoid letting her see his reaction.

"Your brothers were looking for you and it is night time, predators are up" Tsu'tey made up an excuse although he assumed Emersyn knew it was an excuse simply because he spoke in rapid na'vi. Thankfully, Emersyn didn't pry further as to why her brothers were looking for her so Tsu'tey asked again the question he had been asking since he found her.

"What were you doing?"

Emersyn blinked in hesitation before she answered and it was then Tsu'tey was given a brief history of what he would come to know as the dark path the tawtute walked. Although Emersyn did say there were good tawtute but they were deceived by bad tawtute about this place.

Tsu'tey suddenly had a thought "When you came here, what were your thoughts?" There was an unpleasant feeling inside him as if Emersyn looking at Pandora in the wrong light was something unusual when he knew she might have a bad impression when she arrived based on her stories.

A pondering thought came with a shrug "When I came, I was intrigued by this place. When I saw-" A soft gaze towards him and Tsu'tey felt his tail move sideways "I fell in love..." The words were so soft that Tsu'tey would be unable to hear it if there were other Na'vi around but seeing as there were none, he heard it loud and clear.

Tsu'tey suddenly had a horrible realization: He was very, very inept when it comes to courting or anything close to what males would do with their chosen mates.

Sure, he was paired with Neytiri before but that was his parents' and Neytiri's parents' wishes. Tsu'tey barely did anything that resembles  courting in front of Neytiri aside from conversations here and there and strategies on how to hunt the next meal.

He quickly leaned close to Emersyn which startled her into closing her eyes. Before his nerves could take over, he hesitantly brushed his lips over hers before pulling back. Emersyn snapped her eyes open in shock which gave him the impression she really felt that.

He breathed heavily and forced himself to avoid making his tanhi glowed though he had a feeling his expression was anything but normal at the moment. Tsu'tey held both of Emersyn's cheeks and spoke. "Promise me...you will wait once this battle's over and I will come back for you" The confused look presented on her face made Tsu'rey sigh in annoyance, mostly to himself.

"When we survive and win the war, I will take you as my mate" It was better for her to know his intentions otherwise knowing her, she would only dismiss it as some na'vi thing she was unaware of. That was not going to happen to Tsu'tey's case.

Tsu'tey couldn't help but let out an arrogant smirk when he saw her expression. Kissing her once more, Tsu'tey walked away before Emersyn could say anything. He was not escaping, simply making a tactical retreat for now.

Now that he had made his intentions clear, it was time for him to get himself some advice.

To the hunters, Tsu'tey was someone whom they would rely on when it comes to skills on fighting and hunting so it was to the surprise of many to see said warrior staring down at them with a question they were still processing.

"Fyape kem si nga tìyawn tuteo?(How do you love someone?)"

This was probably one of the greatest challenges they face. What happened to Olo'eyktan? Did he have someone he wants after Neytiri chose another? If so, then who?

In any case, if their Olo'eyktan asked them for this then they must provide him with answers. "Fnepe lu poe pxel?(What is she like?)" One of the hunters asked to which Tsu'tey gave it a thought. What exactly was Emersyn like?

Annoying.

Nosy.

Loud mouth.

Reckless.

Challenging.

Disobedient.

As the list went on, Tsu'tey suddenly wondered how did he even managed to fall for her in the first place. Seeing that Tsu'tey's mood seems to be getting worse. One of the hunters looked at the hunter who asked that question with a slight jab in the ribs.

"Hey bro-Tsu'tey!" A call made Tsu'tey turn his attention to an approaching Jake and Tom. One wore a serious expression on his face while the other had a blank look. The hunters stared at the approaching Sully siblings before slightly scooting away to give the three males privacy although they didn't get far, likely wanting to be the first to see and hear this.

Also, gossips are bound to be passed around throughout the clan.

"We'd like to have a word with you concerning our sister"

"Mother Eywa what is happening"

Tom had literally no idea what was happening.

At most he wanted to ask Tsu'tey why he chose Emersyn and if he'd take care of her like a true gentle...na'vi? But, from what he was seeing - Tsu'tey stood with his arms crossed and eyes serious while Jake hummed and stared straight down at him - Tom had a feeling things will surely escalate if he doesn't do something and fast!

Now Tom wasn't a confrontational person unless it was something that either pisses him off or it was a situation in which he was forced to be confrontational.

"Tsu'tey, brother, we'd appreciate it if you could just answer a few questions for us concerning our sister" Tom said as he quickly got in between the two posturing males. That seemed to break the tension when both males eased their expression at the mention of Emersyn. Tom sighed, glad that nothing had happened.

There was something in Tsu'tey's that made Jake stare before placing a hand on Tsu'tey shoulder "Take care of her" Was all he said and for Tsu'tey to reply "Yes" in English. "Huh?" Was all that processed Tom's thoughts. Was that all it took for two stubborn males to get along?

Tom had no idea he had become the pity party for the hunters who looked at the poor boy with sympathy. If you had lived with Tsu'tey long enough, you'd know the na'vi was more into action than words, something that Jake can understand.

"Now, let me tell you all about Emersyn. You might be able to gain something from when she was a kid" Jake said as he and Tsu'tey walked to a more private location for some brotherly conversation.

"I will never understand guys like those two" Tom thought as he silently followed them behind. Even if he did not understand, he's still Emersyn's brother which means he also has something to say concerning this development like how a prideful and duty bound na'vi like Tsu'tey could actually fall for his spunky and out of control sister.
