A Talk

Whenever celebrations or parties happen within the clan, Tsu'tey was one up for excluding himself to these events and would rather stay holed up somewhere in the Kelutral or go scouting the perimeters underneath the starry night.

This night however, was a party for Na'vi to let their spirits free for one night before they go back to their jobs in keeping the tribe safe and joyous for its residences.

In Emersyn's colourful tawtute (Sky People) terms: Tonight was a night where you get drunk, loosen up and talk shit before you get back to be your old, grumpy self.

Tsu'tey frowned at the thought of Emersyn as he sat down beside his clan mates who were joyously talking with one another about their life, their mates and even their children. All of this was new to Tsu'tey and he didn't know how to react. Engage him on the quickest way to end a tawtute's life, he could answer without hesitation. Learn how to plan strategic attacks, he could give a lot of pointers.

But this was something he was out of his element.

"Syor Tsu'tey, nga 'ur fìtxan ftumfa tsenge (Relax Tsu'tey, you look so out of place)" Marek, a mated male who has 3 daughters and an oncoming one said jokingly. Tsu'tey grunted as he frowned all the more. Seeing as the male was almost halfway drunk as the rest of them were, Tsyal dared to ask a question to the future Olo'eyktan.

"Fyape lu 'u husänume uniltìrantokx? (How are things with teaching the Dramwalker?)" Everyone surrounding Tsu'tey looked at him with eagerness that almost made Tsu'tey wonder what held these males interested in Emersyn. That thought send a spike of unwanted anger through him.

"Frawzo (Fine)" Tsu'tey said shortly "Pefya hìno? (How fine?)" Tsyal pressed on and Tsu'tey felt the drink slowly dribble in his hands the tighter he squeezed and those beside him immediately recognised brewing anger and respectfully backed away. Marek jabbed Tsyal who immediately backed down.

Tsu'tey breathed deeply to lower down the boiling rage that was threatening to surface before one of his clan mates shouted "Fitsenge za'u uniltìranyu (Here comes the Dreamwalker)" Tsu'tey snapped his head to the direction where his clan mate spotted the female.

She looked around with a lost look in her eyes as she evaded oncoming drunk Na'vi from left to right. He watched her nose crinkled at the smell of wine and watched her almost gagged when one female Na'vi leaned on her for support from her wobbly walking.

"Poe kawkrr may' Na'vi naer txo poe nì'en na fayluta (She never tasted Na'vi drink if she acts like that)" Marek commented as they all watch her stumble around with wide eyes but they were filled with amusement. Tsu'tey watch her wander around, occasionally bumping a few Na'vi who payed her no mind before she disappeared within the growing crowd "Jakesully!" Marek exclaimed joyfully as the uniltìrantokx (Dreamwalker) headed to their direction.

Now Tsu'tey really need that drink before this skxawng (moron) makes a conversation out of him.

By the time he had his 10th drink, his mind was already hazy and the colors in his view swirled around. Beside him, an equally drunk Jake was laughing his ass off when one of the hunters explained how he managed to slip pass the borders when he was young and ended up in a ditch somewhere not far from the clan and he only took 15 steps away before that happened.

Though Tsu'tey may be drunk and his senses blurred out, he could still make out an approaching Na'vi figure towards them "Hey Emmy! Big bad Tsu'tey's smiling!" Jake said happily with a slur in his tone. Tsu'tey briefly wondered what he was talking about before he felt his facial nerves break out to an easy drunken smile that was directed at Emersyn.

The said person stared at him as if he was someone she never met or she knew him in another day and chose this time to look at him like he just swam drinks full of pxir (beer; alcoholic beverages) which he did by the way and all because the stupid women wouldn't leave his mind.
