A second short summary . . .

Now I'm laying here and thinking to myself that the hell that I believed I had experienced during these past three years of college were now nothing compared to these past three minutes of my life.

I saw the flash of orange when I had first moved here three years ago during the summer for college. It jumped behind a bush in the yard. At one point, every morning I would see that same orange Tabby cat walk down the road, past my house. I gave it some food and water
when it seemed starving and weak during that summer. Once my first year of college started, I would see it less but it always walked the same road as before. I would watch the cat grow stronger over the years and I had been happy I helped it get better. I saw the orange fur pass by as I'd walk alone at night to get food. It's always been around.

Even now, as I'm laying with my head bleeding in the back of some man's van with my hands tied behind my back and mouth duct taped, I still see that same orange cat as it begins running after this van as the trunk shuts above me.
