In the weeks that followed Jackie wouldn't answer any phone calls, texts, messages, nothing. Bob told him to give her time. Eunice urged him to pray on that matter and Joe assured him that once he won the presidency they would fight to make sure he had amble visitation with Caroline.
So when Jack's phone rang at 3am he was more then a bit shocked to hear Jackie on the other end. "Bunny..." She almost sounded like she was whimpering.
"Jackie? What's wrong?" He sat up, immediately fully awake.
"I need you...I need you to come get us."
"In Greece?"
"Yes." She murmured
"Why?"
"I'll explain everything." She sighed. "Please? For Caroline."
"Of course. Of course. Should I get you at the house?"
She shook her head. "No! Text me when you're here. We'll meet you."
"Jacq...are you okay?"
"No. No I'm not. But please just trust me."
"always have."
She smiled slightly. "See you soon Bunny."
He stared at his phone before quickly firing off a text to Bobby. "Jackie sent SOS. Meet me at the plane in 20."
