An old one shot from my vault but I edited some parts. Regular reminder that everything is fictional.
Summary: The investigator told Grace a sad news about the search for her biological parents.

"Madam Senator, I'm sorry pero sa isang taong paghahanap namin sa biological parents n'yo ay wala po kaming natagpuan. Wala po kaming makuhang impormasyon tungkol sa kanila. Paumanhin po." Grace's private investigator told her.
"Naiintindihan ko po. Maraming salamat po sa serbisyo." Grace said and shook hands with the private investigator.
Grace went to her and Mar's room when the private investigator left. She sat down on the sofa. She stared into the blank space as she tried to comprehend the information she had just received.
Mar, who had just finished signing papers, looked for his wife and found her in their room.
"Hon, you okay?" He asked and walked to her before sitting beside her. He slid his arms around her, a silent way of letting her know that he was ready to listen.
"No chance," she whispered. "There's no chance of finding my biological parents. Kagagaling ng private investigator at sinabing wala silang makuhang impormasyon tungkol sa mga tunay kong magulang."
"Pwede naman tayong kumuha ng bagong investigator." Mar suggested.
"Huwag na siguro, Hon. May mga taong hindi na siguro dapat pang hanapin pa." She said.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this." He comforted and rubbed her back.
"That was the last time I'll try at ngayong walang nakuhang impormasyon siguro sign na 'yon para tumigil ako." She buried her head on his chest as her tears rolled down.
"Hey, even if you didn't get a chance to meet them, you still have us. Ang mom mo, ako pati ang mga kaibigan natin." He soothed, and he could feel his shirt getting soaked with tears.
She wrapped her arms around him as she cried harder.
"I hate this." She sobbed and looked at Mar. His heart broke seeing her like this.
"Dapat siguro mag-hiwalay na tayo, Mar. Nadadamay ka pa sa gulo ng buhay ko. You should find someone better, yung deserve mo." Her heart ached when she spoked those words.
"Sweetheart, alam mong ayaw kong nagsasalita ka ng ganyan," He reminded her, wiping away the tears in her face "You govern my world. Kahit ipagtabuyan mo ako o ano pang sabihin mo, hindi mo ako mapapaalis sa buhay mo." She nodded but still feeling the sadness that the news brought.
"I wish na may iba pa akong magagawa para mahanap sila. But let me help you get through this." He kissed her forehead and went out. Mochi, their dog, jumped on the bed and snuggled in her lap.
Mar came back after a few minutes and sat beside her.
"Baba tayo. I have something to show you." He said and kissed her shoulder.
He held his hand out for her to hold, and she did, letting him take her downstairs. Their living room was crowded. Risa, Win, Bong, Leni, Loren, Migz, and her mom were smiling at her.
"Ano to?" She asked and wiped her face with the sleeves of her sweater.
"Tinawagan kami ni Mar at nasabi nya about your parents." Risa was the first one to talk.
"We're not gonna pretend na alam namin yung nafi-feel mo." Migz followed
"Sa ayaw at sa gusto mo," Win teased
"Kahit magulo kami." Loren added
"Pamilya tayo." Bong and Leni both said.
"At mahal ka namin." Her mom concluded and pulled her in an embrace
"You're my- our daughter. Kahit ano pang sabihin nila, you're a Sonora-Poe. Prinsesa namin ni Ronnie. Hindi ka man nanggaling sa sinapupunan ko pero galing ka naman sa puso ko." Susan reminded her, and her heart ached at all the people she loved together.
When her mom let her go, she glanced back at Mar. He called and gathered everyone to show her how much they loved her.
"Halika dito, Grasya! Alam mo namang love ka namin." They did a group hug.
"Sis, you know that I love you diba?" Bong told her, and she chuckled at his name for her.
"Kaya nga!" Win and Migz both said.
She walked to Mar. She wrapped her arms around him, leaned her forehead against his, and smiled sweetly, "Having you in my life is one of the best thing that happened to me."
"I know. Swerte mo sakin kasi gwapo na, magaling pa magpa-kilig." He teased her
"Nakakainis ka kasi ang galing mo." She shyly admitted.
"Mas kikiligin ka dito." He whispered.
She gave him a curious look but didn't have time to guess because he whispered, "Marry me again." in her ear
"What?" She gasped, moving away from him as he presented her with a small box. When he lifted the lid, she was faced with a sparkly ring set with a diamond.
She stared at the ring, then at Mar. 25 years of togetherness, and here he is, asking her to be his all over again. She's so lucky to have him as a husband. There was no one like him. He understands every single part of her personality. She realized she had been silent for too long. Smiling at him, she answered, "Of course," softly. She shrieked when she felt him pick her up, spinning her around.
Everybody who missed the proposal squealed when Mar slipped the ring on her finger. Risa slapped Win's arm hard, for he looked pained. Loren was tearing up as Migz pulled her close. Leni and Bong smiled at the couple, and Susan smiled because her daughter had married the right man.
"She married the right man, Ronny." She whispered.
"Renewal?" Leni asked, and the couple nodded.
"I'm gonna help with the planning!" Risa volunteered.
"Gowns!" Loren exclaimed, and their husbands shook their heads. Girls.
"I'm happy for you, Nak. I know your Dad is too." Susan smiled and hugged them both.
"Better?" Mar asked her when the two of them were alone again
"Much better." She answered before pulling him for a kiss.
