CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

"What are you doing here, Ice?" I confusedly asked at nag lakad palapit sa kaniya since nakatayo siya kung saan ako dadaan.

"I told you... I'm going to asked you after midterm." Sagot niya naman sa akin.

"Not now, Ice. I'm tired." Sagot ko sa kaniya at nilampasan lang siya at para buksan ang pinto ng kotse ko at para maka-alis na.

I don't know, but I don't feel like talking to him after what everything I saw in Cebu until here.

"Shein..." Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko para pigilan akong buksan ang pinto ng sasakyan ko.

Tumingin ako sa kaniya at sa mga mata niya. Para akong malulunod dahil sa sobrang seryoso niyang tumitig.

Napaiwas agad ako ng tingin at tinanggal ang pagkakahawak ng kamay niya.

"What do you want to talk about?" Tanging tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Let me court you." Sagot niya naman dahilan para mapatingin ako sa kaniya nang may pagtataka.

My heart's suddenly beating fast, especially when I look at him in his eyes. And I don't know what words should I use.

"I'm serious, Shein... I haven't properly talk to you because you're always avoiding me... I even blame myself that I should have told you earlier when I had a chance, when we were at the rooftop... But I was scared you might reject me, when I'm still not even sure about this... But now I'm sure, the moment I saw you with other guy in Cebu, laughing, smiling, and being too clingy. I don't know, but I feel like my heart's going to burst out."

Nakatingin lang ako sa mga mata niya habang sinasabi ang lahat ng yun. And his words confused me.

I can see the different emotions lingering in his eyes. I can see sincerity in it.

And now my heart's rapidly beating. I don't know what is this! But this is the first time I've felt this kind of state and reaction. As if any time soon my heart's going to be detached from the ribcage

"Aizer..." I muttered his name habang nakatingin parin sa mga mata niya.

"Tell me, what am I supposed to do..." He smoothly and slowly said kaya ramdam ko ang mga salita niya.

I never been like this before, hindi ako kinakabahan ng ganito while we're on a mission. Ngayon lang, habang kaharap ko siya.

"Ice..." I mumbled his name still looking directly into his eyes.

"I like you." Words that smoothly came out from his mouth which made my heart more rapidly beating and I my face feels hot.

"Ice, you —"

"Believe me." I wasn't able to say another words dahil bigla niyang pinutol ang sasabihin ko.

"... I'm telling you, I am not sure at first. Its just... It's just that, I woke up one morning, and you were the only person that's always inside my head." He said again.

"I've done everything I could just to understand my feelings for you while you were just looking somewhere else, avoiding my gaze, and were just plainly glancing at me. And I always feel so frustrated whenever you're doing that." He added with those serious yet smooth voice of his.

"But aren't you having a good time with some other girls? At bakit ako? Marami namang iba jan." Sunod sunod na sabi ko naman at umiwas agad ng tingin.

"They're not you." Seryosong sagot niya.

I didn't say a word and also didn't look at him.

"Shein please..." He said again with a low voice.

"Ice I'm not sure... I don't know..." Naguguluhang sabi ko at tumalikod pa sa kaniya.
