Weekend came and I was just at home with the three, paps and Mr David.
"You sure you're not just here for a vacation?" Kunot-noong tanong ko kay paps.
"Yes! I'm here for good." Nakangiti niyang sagot.
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at napailing.
I think he's not lying, but for sure he has reason why he's here for good. How about the company in Japan? Well, of course it will run even the owner is not around.
"You're not here to gave us numerous missions, right?" Blake suddenly asked.
"Of course! You're in a long vacation, diba Shein?" Sagot naman ni paps at tumingin pa sa akin.
Napairap nalang ako at tumingin sa phone ko na biglang nag vibrate.
"I heard 'bout you showing your talent, care to tell me, Shein?" Paps suddenly said while grinning.
"Tsk. As if you haven't seen it." I wearily said which made him chuckled.
Not me, paps. I know you already saw those videos. There's nothing you don't know after all.
"I'll visit your school again this Monday, by the way." He suddenly said.
Takang tumingin naman kami nina Zel sa kaniya.
"Why?" I simply asked while confusedly looking at him.
"Hmmm to check my land?" He confusedly answered.
What? His land? Don't tell me...
"You're saying paps, the RU's land is yours?" Gulat na tanong ni Zel.
"You don't know?" Gulat ring tanong ni paps sa kaniya.
"Well, I guess I have a lot to say huh." He added and then tumingin sa amin isa isa.
Dumating si Mr David na may dalang snack at inilagay sa center table habang nag e-explain si paps about RU.
"My father owns the whole land where RU was built. You can find the record of the building history of RU... And it turned 70 years yesterday, right?" Paps said and we all just nod.
Then I remember the attached files in my laptop, yung record about RU, yung hiningi ko kay Mr David. Right! Hindi ko nga pala na basa ang about sa building history ng RU.
"I'll visit again on Monday, Alejandro told me na mag re-release na sila about sa rankings." He suddenly added.
"Oh my god, really!?" Zel excitedly asked.
Rankings. It's been weeks. The partial rankings will be released on Monday. Ano kaya ang mga result.
Zel, Blake, and Clayd were all talking about what paps said. Ako naman ay tahimik lang at nakikinig sa kanila.
Monday came and just like a normal student, gumising ako ng maaga para mag prepare nang pumasok then lumabas para makapag-breakfast.
"Why are you already dressed up, paps?" I confusedly asked when I saw paps already eating with the three and Mr David at the dinning room.
"Remember? I'm going to visit RU." Simpleng sagot niya sakin at sumubo ng pagkain.
What? This early? Mag seven thirty palang ah. Hindi na ako nagtanong pa ulit at kumain nalang.
"Are you all done?" Paps suddenly asked after naming matapos kumain.
"Don't tell me sasabay ka sa amin?" Nagtatakang tanong ko sa kaniya.
"Why? Bawal?" Nakangiti niyang sagot at agad na tumayo.
Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Zel, Blake at Clayd. Ano bang iniisip ni paps.
