CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

"This is one hundred items. You have to answer all the questions before 12:00nn. Is that clear?"

"Yes ma'am!" Everyone answered.

Right, I am having my last exam for this morning. But my mind's somewhere else. Jesus! I hope walang may mangyaring masama sa grades at rank ko!

After the night, I had a talk with paps and Mr David. I can't fully focus on my reviewers. My mind seems to be wandering somewhere. Buti nalang pag nasa school minsan nasa loob naman siya ng ulo ko.

Felix... Emil... Teodoro Coroza... Damn it. Why the hell did they choose the days where I'll be having our finals! Tsk! Maghintay lang sila. Nakainis talaga! I will definitely detached their heads on their bodies!

"Thank goodness! Last na ng finals tomorrow." Joellen suddenly said excitedly.

We were now heading to the cafeteria since kakatapos palang ng exam namin ngayong umaga.

"May exam pa later." Pambabara naman agad ni Alexus sa kaniya.

"So? At least last na bukas!" Nakanguso Sabi naman ni Joellen.

"Right, so let's drink this weekend!" Dinig kong sabi naman ni Allyza na sinang-ayonan agad ni Alexus.

"But... Hindi ako umiinom." Nakangusong sabi ni Joellen sa kanila.

"No buts! Ikaw Shein? G ka diba?" Tanong ni Allyza sakin.
"Then let's invite the others as well!" She added while grinning.

Napailing nalang ako at napatingin sa katabi ko. Napalingon naman siya sakin at kunot noong nag tanong.

"What?"

Umiling lang naman ako at ibinalik ang tingin sa harapan.

I can't still forget the talk I had with Tita Rose. What should I do? I need to have a lot of courage para sabihin sa kaniya ang lahat.

Then again I don't think I can do it right now since I still have a lot to do.

Nang makarating kami sa cafeteria ay nakita ko agad si Zel kasama si Blake at Clayd. Anong ginagawa ng dalawang to dito.

"I think I'll dine-in with them." I suddenly said while looking at them. Napatingin silang tatlo sakin, and waved their hands expect Clayd who was just crossing his arms. Tsk.

"Oh, Hi Zel! Hi guys!" Joellen greeted them so they smiled and waved their hands.

"Let's go to their table." Nanlaki naman ang mata ko dahil sa sinabi ni Ice.

Wh-what!? Hindi na ako naka-tanggi dahil hinila niya na ako papunta sa table kung saan naka upo sina Zel. Habang nauna naman si Joellen papunta roon at nakasunod lang si Alexus at Allyza sa kaniya.

Natatawang nakatingin si Zel at Blake sakin ng makarating kami sa tabi nila. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako, inirapan ko si Clayd na walang reaction at naka cross-arm pa.

"Hi guys, let's have our lunch together!" Nakangiting sabi ni Joellen sa kanila.

Hindi naman ako umimik at naupo sa bakanting table habang sila ay nag kwe-kwentohan.

Umorder ng pagkain yung mga lalaki kaya naiwan kaming mga babae sa table.

"Did you tell him?" Zel suddenly whispered kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya at mahinang umiling lang.

"Hay." Napabuntong hininga nalang siya at nakipag-kwentohan kay Joellen at Allyza.

The guys went back to our table with the foods they ordered. And we had a peaceful lunch break not until...
