CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

Days quickly pass. It is already Wednesday. And the four of us are already in our way to RU.

Nang makarating kami ay eksaktong opening ceremony na at sa plaza ginawa ang opening ceremony.

There is a stage at the front of the registration office and all the Deans office as far as I remember. And infront of the wide stage is the plaza. The plaza is located at the middle of the whole RU.

"Today's the first day of our three day RU founding anniversary celebration." Sabi nong nasa taas ng stage.

I am with Zel, Clayd, and Blake, sitting at the bench at the side of the plaza. Marami ang taong nasa gitna at nanonood at nakikinig sa taong nag sasalita sa stage. Meron ding iba kagaya namin na hindi nakipag siksikan sa gitna since malawak naman ang space pa sa likod at side ng plaza.

"Ang daming tao. Mga students ba lahat yan?" Zel suddenly said.

"Oo naman." Sagot ni Blake sa kaniya.

Mula dito sa kina-uupuan namin ay tanaw ang ka buohan ng plaza. Nasa left side lang naman kami kung saan ang stage.

"There are 200 students in every year level, tapos hanggang five years pa ang ibang course. Sa tingin mo ilan tayo ngayon?" Dinig kong sabi ni Zel kay Blake.

"Ahmm... 200 times five. One thousand? Then ilang courses ba?" Sagot naman ni Blake.

"I don't know." Dinig kong sabi ni Zel.

Napailing nalang ako at tiningnan sila.

"RU's estimate population is 15,000... Makinig nalang kayo." Sabi ko. At mabilis naman silang tumango.

"I hope you will have a good and blessed day." Huling sabi nong taong nag speech sa taas ng stage.

"Thank you Mr Alejandro Fajardo Jr! Let's give a round of applause to RU's President." Malakas na sabi ng mc.

"Fajardo? Isn't that the surname of Alexus yung kasama niyo sa play and kasama minsan ni Joellen?" Zel suddenly asked.

"Yup." Sagot ko at tumango pa.

Tumango-tango naman siya at ibinalik ang tingin sa stage.

Kaya pala familiar ang muka ng nag sasalita kanina. Since I've seen him already at my secret files. The president of RU, father of Alexus, and future father-in-law ni Joellen. Lol.

"Before we ended this opening ceremony. Let's all welcome first our visitors." Nagpalakpakan naman ang lahat matapos sabihin iyon ng MC.

"Let's all welcome... Atty. Luis Franko and his wife Mrs Sharon Franko!" Nagpalakpakan naman ang lahat ng ipakilala ng MC ang dalawang nakaupo sa tabi ng mga Dean at ng RU president.

"...Engi. Lester Tamayo and his wife Mrs Ma. Jolene Tamayo!" Nagpalakpakan ulit ang buong crowd.

"... Engi. Ariel Matthew and Archi. Ella Matthew!"

"... Atty. Harvey Borromeo and his wife Mrs Alice Borromeo!"

"And... Chairman Daryl John Del Castillo and his wife Engi. Anna Rose Del Castillo!" Mas malakas ang palakpakan ng mga tao.

I just remain looking at the people na naka upo sa taas ng stage.

"Borromeo's also a major stock holder?" Blake suddenly asked.

After the so long opening ceremony ay nag kalat agad ang mga tao sa loob ng school.

I haven't seen Joellen since I arrived. Saan kaya siya. I don't think I'll see her in this huge crowd.

Nasa may bench lang kami after the ceremony habang ang lahat ay nag punta sa mga booths and clubs, since maraming department ang nag prepare para ngayong araw
