Chapter 19 - The Swordsmith Village

The Swordsmith Village

"Hm, Where could that demon be?" Yumiko thought. They walk and investigate the village. "I can't sense the smell!" Yumiko thought. "Yumiko-chan! Let's have a hot spring there!!" Mitsuri said. "Eh?! Mitsuri-san I-" Yumiko said. "Please?" Mitsuri begged. "Fine." Yumiko said. "Yay!" Mitsuri said. Then they go to the hot spring. "Huh, it's relaxing but I want to be focused on the mission that I was assigned from Oyakata-sama," Yumiko thought.

"It's pretty good right, Yumiko-chan?" Mitsuri asked. "Yea I guess you're right, Mitsuri-san." Yumiko said. "All we do now is relax, at night, let's be serious okay?" Mitsuri said. "Okay, Misuri-san." Yumiko said. "Eh?! Where is Yumiko-chan go?" Mitsuri said. "BOO!" Yumiko said. "AHHH! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Mitsuri shouted. "HAHAHA!" Yumiko laughed. "Yumiko-chan, you know I'm scared." Mitsuri said. "I'm sorry." Yumiko giggled. "I'm gonna tickle you! Be ready, Yumiko-chan!" Mitsuri said. "K-Kanroji-san, No...I'm running away!" Yumiko ran away.

"I'm getting you, Yumiko-chan!" Mitsuri said. "You can't catch me!" Yumiko said. "Yes I can!" Mitsuri said. They keep running around until they are exhausted. "Huh, huh, I'm tired!" Yumiko said. "Me too!" Mitsuri said. "Let's buy a drink!" Yumiko said. "Sure!" Mitsuri said. "Let's run!" Mitsuri said, running. "Okay!" Yumiko said. Yumiko ran and fell because of nothing. "Yumiko-chan!? Are you okay?" Mitsuri said, worried face. "I-I'm fine, Kanroji-san, let's not run." Yumiko said. "Well if that's so, then okay!" Mitsuri said. "Oh, Tanjiro-kun!"

-Timeskip-

The blue sky changes into a dark-blue beautiful sky and the moon looks pretty. "It's night time, but we still haven't found the demon." Yumiko thought. Then Yumiko senses the smell of the demon. "Mitsuri-san, I think I sense the demon!" Yumiko said. "Oh, I sense it too." Mitsuri said. "I have to find the demon, is the demon Uppermoon?" Yumiko thought. "Yumiko-chan! Watch out!!" Mitsuri said. "Huh?!" Yumiko is shocked and ducks. "It's an Uppermoon, huh." Yumiko thought.

"Ahh, Yumiko you're so cool and your reflex is super fast!" Mitsuri said excitedly. "Hehehe, Unfortunately I've been training really hard so my reflex is very fast." Yumiko grinned with sweat. "Yumiko-san! You're okay?" Tanjiro said. "I'm fine, Tanjiro!" Yumiko said. "Isn't that Tokito-kun?" Mitsuri's eyes lead to Tokito. "Is that a girl?" Yumiko asked. "Pfft-HAHAHA" Mitsuri laughed. "Why are you laughing Mitsuri-san?" Yumiko asked, confused.

"He's a boy, Yumiko-chan!" Mitsuri continued her laughter. "My, I felt dumb and embarrassed." Yumiko looked down and blushed. "Why would a poor young child be here, either way?" asked Yumiko. "He's a pillar- (¬_¬ )" Mitsuri said. "PILLAR!? This- small- child- a Pillar!??! I'm not even a pillar yet!" Yumiko shocked, her eyes almost popped out. "Yes! I don't know why he wants to become a pillar but actually he's kinda cute!" Mitsuri said. "Yeah he's kinda cute but I'm very shocked, he's a pillar!" Yumiko said.

"Tokito-san! in here!" Tanjiro shouted. Then Muchiro goes to Tanjiro's direction. "Who is this girl?" Muchiro said. "Ah! Tokito-san, This is Hatsune Yumiko, Second Tsugoku of Shinobu-san!" Tanjiro said. "Oh." That's the only thing he said next and left. "I-Uh." Yumiko said. "Tokito-kun is very cool!" Mitsuri said. "Uh..." Yumiko just stared at Mitsuri and had a weird reaction. "Yumiko-chan? Are you okay?" Mitsuri said. "I'm fine, and I will leave, hehehe..." Yumiko left Mitsuri and Tanjiro.

Yumiko run, catches up Muichiro and talked each other. "Muichiro-kun! Can I talk to you?" Yumiko said. "Ok." Muichiro said. "Uhm, Muichiro-san, how old are you? Because I'm curious, and I'm sorry if my conversation is wrong." Yumiko said. "I'm 14 years old." Muichiro said. "WHAT?! HE'S AGE SAME AS NEZUKO-CHAN?!" Yumiko thought while her eyes almost popped out. Then they continue to walk. "Yumiko-chan!! Why did you leave us?!" Mitsuri and Tanjiro said, sad but relieved faces while panting. "Mitsuri-san and Tanjiro-kun are very slow~" Yumiko teased. "Hey! How dare you call us slow." Mitsuri said, steam in the nose. "Well it's the fact." Yumiko giggled. "It's not!" Mitsuri said, sad puppy face.

"Yes~" Yumiko laughed. "I'm joking around, it's not real, Okay." Yumiko giggled. "That means I'm super fast?!." Mitsuri said. "I don't know." Yumiko said. "Awe, okay." Mitsuri said. "Well then, let's go!" Tanjiro said. "Hai!" Yumiko said.

Akita, Butterfly Estate

After accomplishing the mission everyone goes back to demon slayer state. "Yumiko-chan! Your wound is pretty big!" Shinobu panicked. "Huh, no need to worry, I'm not dying with this injury." Yumiko giggled. "Oh, you're right!" Shinobu said. "Well, treatment time!" Shinobu said again. "Hai!" Yumiko said. They walk and go to the treatment room. "Shinobu-sama? Where is Kanao?" Yumiko asked. "She has a mission to do and besides she can't train Tanjiro and his friends, I guess someone would replace Kanao." Shinobu smiled. 

"Well, say 'aaa'." Shinobu said. "Aaa" Yumiko opens her mouth. Then after the treatment is done, Yumiko goes to the training room. "Aoi-chan!!" Yumiko shouted. "Yumiko-san!! You've shocked me!!!!!" Aoi jumped out. "HAHAHAHA!" Yumiko laughed. "How dare you shock me!" Aoi said. "Bleeee!" Yumiko sticks her tongue.

"Yumiko-chan! Yumiko-chan! Look what we got!" Kiyo came. "What is it?" Yumiko replied. "I've found a book! It says that it is a legend," Naho appeared. "It is about the Cursed Red Ring!" Sumi appeared. "Oh really? Let me see!" Yumiko said. "Here!"

"Why is this ring like the ring which Rengoku-san gave me!? Is this a joke or something?!"
