Oahu Pearl Academy, Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii - January 8, 1942

It was the 3rd day of the brothers time here in Pearl Harbor. Having to seen the damage caused by the Japanese, they felt guilt, considering that their father was a Japanese spy, they might be on the short end of the stick as many Americans will shot their eyes to the brothers.

Along with the other excited Alaskans or Americans, they entered the naval academy for new recruits for the navy.

They're set in one huge rows of men outside the hot blistering sunrise. Also from the background, was smoke and cranes everywhere, salvaging what can be used for future operations. For the men, they're ready to fight for their nation, however, for the brothers, they have different mindsets.

They're sweating from the blistering hot temperature of the sun. They've never experienced such weather ever since they lived for 19 years on the hot blistering sun. They have to endure it, for the sake of their own lives, as they see this as a punishment for them because of their parents. The leader of the navy signaled them for a extensive exercise program for the newly recruited men for the US Navy.

The men from Alaska stand proudly as they accepted their fate to fight for their country. The brothers however are nervous because of the training program, much to the dismay of the hot sun.

After the large announcement, all of the men went to the naval academy to start their training for the US Navy.

Going through the months of the Naval Academy, it is heavy training for all the men on joining the Navy, however, from all the harsh treatments, they didn't give up, and so, they continued their hard effort to be recruited to the navy.

Both boys are given harsh treatment from the US Navy, however, they do this for the sake of fighting against their parents, to which there was no reports on them.

Late afternoon, May 8, 1942

On the late afternoon of the Alaskan men's training, everyone was tired for having harsh training for over 5 months. There is no break which is a disgrace as some of the men told the higher ranks to give them breaks to help regain energy.

However, the higher ranks didn't agreed to have such breaks, they only told them that the only thing that is rest is taking a long sleep every night.

True to be told, many of the men from Alaska always heard the sound of parties outside of their training quarters. Even some of the men sneaked out to see it, to their shock, some of the Admirals and other sailors and officers are taking parties.

They told what they've saw to the rest of the men, which made the other men envious because they didn't have fun while the Navy is having fun.

For both brothers, they only focused on joining the Navy, to which through harsh assignments, sports such as swimming and exercising, and medications, it surprised the higher ranks as their progress was said to be perfect for the other branch of recruits.

Ad. Anchora: What's the recent report?

Naval Headmaster: From the records from those 5 months, we have numbers that we might have to send some men on cleaning duty.

Ad. Anchora: Well that's ominous.

Naval Headmaster: But I didn't say "most", I only said, "numbers", so that means that there are some men that are determined to join the navy.

Ad. Anchora: Good.

Naval Headmaster: However, we got complaints from the men because we didn't give all of them scheduled breaks.
