we bounce between the extremes,
vectors on the axes of love, trust, and blood,
never quite resting at our lowest point,
never at our apex for long.
mostly we race 'round our sphere,
circulating somewhere near the equator,
and we ponder if we are self-propelled
or if someone, somehow,
is swirling us around in here,
and we sometimes wonder what it would take to break ourselves out
but we stay because there's something that keeps us together,
even though all our faith is in doubt

Relationships are defined by a bond of sorts - some type, any type of permanence; yet, nothing lasts forever. So, how do we square those ideas so that we can go through life? Comment with your answers because I have none.

When relationships are tested, there is a thread left that holds them together - a gossamer that will hold the weight if they're trusted, but is just a will away from breaking if they let it. They're perilously suspended, but for who-knows how long.
