solipsism's
primitive operating system
self-harm and suicidal justification
for misbehaving vandals
and scandals worth escaping to
the mind's refuge, last safe haven,
a spiked trap or iron maiden
heart pierced, god forsaken;
infant entombed in the womb,
oblivious to deliverance,
blinded by indifference
unable to embrace
humanity's saving grace
or face the painful truth
that restorative justice can't undo
the damage done
by one destructive act
instant destruction of a life's work
impossible to bring back
its former glory
rather fabricate a false construct;
than ruminate, act like a jerk

This was a reflection on how nearly every destructive act is easier the it's creative counterpart. This seems to have a connection to the entropic principle, that the universe tends to chaos and lower energy states, and intelligence engineers order and structure that challenge the seemingly ejecutable march of everything away from everything else. I don't know what that says about being an agent for entropy, but generally I see vandals with less reverence than crafts'men.
