too tired for discourse,
you foment the discord,
try to elevate the tyrant,
'rona got you so bored,
because it's easier to tear down,
than it is stare down
the wisdom
of a hundred past generations,
who foresaw this day,
forefathers of our shattered nation,
know it's time to pray, this is our decisive moment,
this, our only hope for greatness,
chance of a lifetime to make a difference,
to lead the world and heal the nation, every kinder kin knows,
the only way to rule the game
is to dominate the rules,
take your turn or stay the same,
choose your move wisely,
think ahead enough
to see the future
to avoid the shame
queen's gambits
both in house and senate,
using tools to change the rules,
provided by the system,
win it,this is our decisive moment,
this our first hope for greatness,
chance of millennae to make a difference,
to heal the world and lead the nation, true elephants aren't sycophants,
that overrun our sacred spaces
propping up a populist
who's trampling the suffering
and caters to racists,
this is not a competition,
this is not a race we're in,
we're tired of the rants,
it's time to work together
so we call can win.this is our decisive moment,
this, our last hope for change,
time to overcome our differences,
fear of the unknown, and pain.🇺🇸
January 6, 2022 saw a riotous incursion into one of the democratic world's most iconic and revered spaces - the United States Capitol. The mascots of the two major US political parties, the donkey and the elephant are humorously emblematic of their loyalists flaws and virtues. In truth, allegiance to anything but honesty, love, kindness and humanity is counterproductive anywhere in the world.
Much as the global coronavirus pandemic called upon the world to unite for a cure, for scientific and technological advancement to rise to the challenges of the day, and for all of us to care for one another a little bit better, political crises demand we demonstrate even more civil and human resolve to keep our systems of government functioning and far from collapse. We rise by preserving our heritage while reconciling with the past and as the world stands today, we must all rise if we hope to continue improving the world for future generations.
I am grateful for and to everyone who puts love over politics and helps make the world a kinder, gentler place.
