Traiven's POV

Nasa pool si Mom at Dad at naliligo. I know that this is the time to ask them.

Dahan-dahan akong naglakad.

"Hon, don't worry about him. Zumi's doing her work and besides, they always tag along. They always stick together,Zumi won't let our son be in danger and I know.... She really loves our son."

Dinig kong sabi ni Dad na nakapaglaki ng mga mata ko.

What the hell am I hearing right now?

They knew Zumi?

At ano'ng sabi nila na palagi kaming magkasama ni Zumi when in fact,si Hanna ang palagi kong kasama. Hindi kaya....

"Son! Traiven!"

Napalingon ako kay Dad at kita ko ang gulat sa mga mata niya.

"Anak,kanina ka pa ba diyan?" Parang kinakabahang tanong ni Mom sa'kin.

"Ah,no. Kakarating ko lang." Saad ko at naglakad papalapit sa kanila. Yes,i know it's a lie.

I sat at the edge of the pool,watching the two of them.

"I just wanna ask something Dad,Mom.."

Agad silang tumingin sa gawi ko at binigyan ako ng atensyon.

"Ano yun anak?" Mom asked.

"Dad,Mom.... Ano ba talaga ang lahi mayroon si Mr. and Mrs. Florida?" I ask them while biting my lip.

They stare at each other first.

"Why did you ask son?" Si Dad habang naunang umahon sa pool at kaagad na tinulungan si Mom na umahon din.

"I'm just asking dad,no offense."

Dad chuckled. "I know you mean no offense. You're harmless.."

Napakamot ako sa batok ko habang natawa ng mahina,but it doesn't mean that I forgot my intention here and the words that came out from Dad's mouth earlier.

"So Dad? Mom? I'm asking and waiting for your answer..."

Tumikhim si Dad.

"Jhake Scott-Florida is a full Australian person while his wife, Christine Chua-Florida is a half Filipino and half Chinese."

Tumaas ang kilay ko. Mr. Florida is full Australian? And his wife is half Chinese?

"You told me before that they had a daughter... What's her name?"

Muli silang nagkatitigan.

Damn it! It's getting more suspicious.

"Uhm,anak... Bakit mo ba tinatanong to?"

"Mom,pinag-aaralan ko lang ang mga soon-to-be business partners ko kaya ako nagtatanong." I lied smoothly,ni hindi man lang ako nauutal sa mga sinasabi ko.

Dad sighed then spoke, "Their daughter named Shaszy."

Shaszy.

Why do I have this feeling that Mom and Dad was hiding something from me?

Because they are definitely hiding something from you!

I don't think that's the real name of Mr. and Mrs. Florida's daughter.

"Saan siya nag-aaral?" I still continue to ask them cause i really know that this girl was somehow connected to Hanna,Blythe and Zumi.

"S-sa Ateneo." Mailap ang mga mata ni Mom,means nagsisinungaling siya. But anyways, I'll let it slip.

"Oh,can i see her pictures?"
