Hey guys it's been a while, but I have a new muse and inspiration for this book which I hope you all will like. I'm also officially on summer vacation so I'll be writing and posting a lot more! As always enjoy the chapter and leave me some notes!

The living room was quiet and tense
Valentina had her eyes down but sensing someone's eyes on her, she looked up
And of course, she makes direct eye contact with Natasha, who has a worry line in between her eyebrows
"I believe there is an issue that must be addressed" Jarvis said after another few moments of silence
"Right, yes" Loki said
"Today we went to the sanctum in hopes of helping Valentina calm herself. Wanda was leading her through meditation when something... strange occurred" He said
"Strange how?" Natasha asked
"Like the Wanda meltdown of 09" Loki said
"The glowing eyes, floating objects, and all" Stephen added
"How?" Tony asked sitting up straighter
"I don't know" Valentina said shaking her head
"You're lying" Steve said
"What?" she asked moving her eyes towards him
"This can't be new. There's a reason you were Hydra's prize possession." Steve said confidently
"So why'd you keep this? Are you dangerous? Is that why?" He added all at once
"Umm, no I-" Valentina stuttered
"No what? No, you're not dangerous?" he asked again
"No, I mean yes, well no, I, I don't know" Valentina said physically making herself smaller unconsciously
"Ok now your just spinning a web of lies. This whole innocent act isn't gonna work" Steve said raising his voice
"Cut it out Steve" Wanda said, her eyes going red
"She doesn't know what any of this is. It's something I caused when I was in her head" she said, her eyes going back to normal
"So what do we do? How do we know Valentina's gonna be safe?" Sam asked
"We take her to the mansion" Logan said
"Well that would definitely help us get to the bottom of this" Pietro said
Valentina stayed quiet and dazed while everyone talked around her
She didn't hear a single thing they were saying
"Val, Val" Natasha says
When Valentina finally was shaken out of her daze she realizes that Natasha was kneeling in front of her with her hand on Valentina's shoulder
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Valentina asked
"What's going on?" Natasha asked
"I don't know" Valentina responded so quietly that Natasha barely heard
Natasha saw true fear, something she didn't see often in Valentina's eyes
She looked into her eyes for a few more moments before she stood up to her full height
"We'll leave first thing in the morning. Let Professor know" Natasha said nodding towards Wanda who responded with a nod
"We should all get to bed then" Clint said
