The Other Widow -Avenger's Soulmate Story

Prologue

Long ago in Russia there was something called the Red Room Program

Little girls kidnapped and forced to learn the art of killing

Innocent girls turned into heartless killing machines without any consent

Among the girls were two very special girls

Natalia Romanova and Valentina Petrov

The other young girls in the Black Widow Program complied out of fear of death

Natalia and Valentina complied because they knew that one day when the time was right, they would be able to fight their way out

They weren't driven by fear like the rest, but determination

That's what made them special from the rest

When they were both children, they were brought to the Red Room, Natalia being 8 and Valentina being 7

They had always been close but never known why they felt this way towards each other

When Natalia turned 15 she realized Valentina was her soulmate and it was confirmed a year later when Valentina was 15

They were smart enough to know that no one could know, that they would have to keep there bond hidden

One day the newly 17 year old went on a solo mission to retrieve a hard drive with information that simply couldn't get out

When she got to the hand off location which was in London, it was an empty dark building

Out from behind a wall, 2 walk out

One in all black with the eyepatch and another in a crisp suit

"Hello Ms. Petrov" said the man with the eye patch said to the girl

"I am Nick fury director of shield and this is our co-director agent Phil Coulson" Fury says

"If you couldn't tell by now we are not with Hydra or the Red Room Program" Coulson says putting his hands behind his back

"So then who are you" The girl says with a British accent

"We work for an organization that is against people like Hydra and the Red Room program, and we know that we aren't the only ones who oppose those organizations" Coulson says again

" You know nothing" the girl says timidly with no emotion

"That may be true, but we do know that your the daughter of one of the first known students of the Red Room that made it onto American soil. The daughter of Dorothy Underwood better known as Dottie" Coulson said once again

"We know that even though this was your mother's life work you don't want to be a part of it" Fury says

"We have a proposition for you. We've been watching you and you are the best from the Red Room. We can get you out, all we ask is that you work with us to take down the people you hate most" He says

"And how am I supposed to know that I can trust you?" Valentina asks intrigued

"Because we have this" Coulson says taking out a hard drive

"We've had this information for quite some time and know what you are willing to do to get out of there, all we want to do is help" He finished

"Listen Valentina, we have other agents who came from bad circumstances as well. One of our top agents was a circus runaway and a mercenary. We want to help" Fury told her

Valentina didn't know what it was, but something about these men made her trust them

"I have a soulmate there, Natalia Romanova, I will go no where unless she is able to leave with me" Valentina says firmly

"Very well then" Fury tells her with a smile

"Are you sure you want to take this risk. Natalia will be easy because she just graduated, but me, I am a legacy. They won't let me go without a fight" Valentina says slightly discouraged

"Rest assure, we are ready to fight" The director tells the girl

"Tomorrow Natalia is assigned to a solo mission to retrieve some data, we will tell her about our agreement and in 1 weeks time you will both have a mission together, that's when you will be leaving for good. So until then you take this hard drive and if they ask who was here you only says Dmitri" Coulson says handing her the flash drive

She leaned forward and hugged the director

She didn't know what came over her, she had never done this in her entire life

"Thank you, I will always be in debt to you. But I want to make one thing overy clear, if anything goes wrong you take Natalia first, she has a better chance to get away, you sedate her and take her to safety, you shoot me and knock me out and make it look like I was attacked. Understood?" Valentina said strongly

Both of the men look at each other skeptically

"I will only go under those circumstances only" Valentina says seeing their hesitation

"Nothing will go wrong, we can take them, but if it does, then we will take Natalia first and leave you, only if we have to" Fury says holding out his hand

"Thank you" Valentina says taking off her glove and shaking the directors hand

With that she left hiding her excitement

She would finally be free to live out her life with the love of her life

They'd do all the things they said they would, like burn their pointe shoes and eat fatty food and leave there hair down

They were finally going to be free
