Ch 2

A few hours later

Carly: "you look great"

Maddie: "really?"

Carly: "mhm"

She wraps her arms around Maddie's waist and kisses her

Carly: "you always look beautiful. There is never a day you don't look beautiful"

Maddie smiles

Carly: "Are you ready to head out?"

Maddie: "yeah I am. Where are we going?"

Carly: "your favorite restaurant, Patsy's"

Maddie: "baby, that's so expensive"

Carly: "I know but it's your birthday. You deserve the best day"

Maddie: "I thought you forgot"

Carly shakes her head

Carly: "I could never. You mean the most to me."

Maddie: "I don't deserve you"

Carly: "you don't"

They both laugh and kiss

Maddie: "I love you"

Carly: "I love you too. Come on, we're going to be late if we don't leave now"

She kisses Maddie's cheek and they walk down to Carly's car. Carly opens the passenger side of the door for Maddie

Carly: "madame"

Maddie: "Oh stop it"

Carly: "I'm just trying to help the woman I love the most in the world"

Maddie: "well I appreciate it"

Maddie gets into the car and Carly shuts the door, walking over to the driver's side

At the restaurant, they walk over to the hostess's table 

Carly: "hello, I have a reservation for Cary Keelin. it's for 2 people"

 hostess: "I see it right here, follow me" 

Carly and Maddie follow the hostess through the restaurant to their table 

Hostess: "here you are, enjoy"

she places the menus on the table and walks away

Carly and Maddie sit on opposite sides of each other, looking through the menu

Carly: "What are you thinking of getting?"

Maddie: "I dont know, I never know when we come"

Carly chuckles

Carly: "order whatever you want, it's your birthday, and I want you to feel special"

A waiter walks over to the two of them

Waiter: "Hello my name is Robin and ill be your server for tonight. Is there anything Ican get for you while you both continue to look through the menus"

Maddie: "can I get an ice tea"

Robin: "of course. And you ms"

Carly: "same thing please"

Robin writes down the drinks on her little notepad

Robin: "can I get you both and starters for this evening?"

Maddie: "can we get the calamari please"

Robin: "of course. I'll be back with your drinks"

She walks away
