Ch 22

During the drive

Ash: "how's school been up in new York?"

Carly: "good, a lot of stuff is being piled on right now for our exams"

Ash: "that sucks"

Carly: "it does but I'm kind of having fun with all my film and photography related assignments"

Ash: "of course you are"

They both laugh

Carly: "we had this assignment where the screen writing class and acting lass were combined to make a mini movie"

Ash: "really, what did you do?"

Carly: "my partner lizzie and i did it on memories. I'll show you it when we get the chance. I'm so grateful that we met because now i actually have a friend in college"

They both laugh

Ash: "well this Lizzie person sounds amazing if she was able to befriend you"

Carly: "of fuck off Ash"

Ash pulls into an In N Out drive through

Ash: "what do you want? The usual?"

Carly: "please"

A worker walks over as ash rolls their window down

Worker: "good afternoon, what can i get for you today"

Ash: "can i get one double double with the peppers and no onions, a cheeseburger without onions and extra cheese, two fries, medium a coke, a medium chocolate  shake, and a water"

Worker:"so that's one double double with the peppers and no onions, a cheeseburger without onions and extra cheese, two fries, medium a coke, a medium chocolate  shake, and a water"

Ash: "yup"

Worker: "just pull forward and your total will be given to you at the window"

Ash: "thank you"

They roll the window up and pull forward

Carly: "you know me too well"

Ash: "of course i do"

Carly: "so how have you been, how has the photography been going"

Ash: "it's been going great actually, i've been getting hired left and right. All next week is booked"

Carly: "Ash, that's amazing"

Ash: "i know, i can't believe how well this has been doing"

Carly: "see, I told you. Can I see some of the shots you've taken"

Ash: "of course, I can bring my camera over on Thursday"

Carly: "yes!"

Ash chuckles to themselves

Worker: "hey, your totally is 13:03"

Ash: "cool"

They pull out their wallet,

Carly: "Ash, I got it"

Ash: "no, last time you bought me food"

Carly: "well you picked me up form the airport, let me buy it"

Ash: "nope"

They pull out a 30 dollar bill and hand it to the worker

Worker; "your change it $6.97"

Ash: "thank you"

Carly: "Ash!"

Ash: "next time"

Carly: "fine"
